After an exhaustive search of the WNBA star’s social media activity, Woke gumshoes have stumbled upon a damning revelation.
What they found is truly stunning.
The Tik Tok account of Sophie Cunningham was relentlessly scoured by the operatives at Meidas Touch.
She is a perfectly normal human being with mainstream views shared by the majority of the American public.
Her first grave offense, of course, is standing up for girls whose sports are being invaded by biological males.
"I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I'm like, 'I never once said that.' I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men."
"I'm very much in the middle. I agree with things on both sides, disagree with things on both sides. And that's all I've ever said about my political beliefs. But people love to assume."
But what really got her excommunicated was her refusal to apologize, unlike fellow WNBA star Caitlin Clark.
"I said what I said. I think it's kind of common sense… I think it's really important to protect children... I don't dislike anyone. … I'm there to love, but I'm also there to love biological women…"

Thus, the radical left has set out on an Unholy Quest to make Sophie Cunningham look like a fringe nutter. The Alinsky playbook of demonization is alive and well.
Unfortunately for them, Cunningham is not even on the fringe—not that there’s anything inherently wrong with that. Her views on boys playing girls' sports is shared by most of the public.
As Gallup polled in June 2025, 69 percent of U.S. adults believe transgender athletes should only be allowed to play on sports teams that match their birth sex.
So, Sophie Cunningham is 1/1. Let’s move to the Meidas Touch hit piece, which was amplified by other rage-bait outlets.
Her first “egregious” case is believing that illegal immigration, well, is illegal, and therefore, people who come to the United States without permission should not be in the country.
The left calls this “undocumented” immigration, which should really disqualify their intellectually dishonest opinion on the matter. The issue isn’t “documentation,” it’s the law.
You don’t call a home invader an “undocumented domicile enterer.” It’s beside the point.
When polling is asked in an intellectually honest way, a clear majority of Americans are against illegal immigration. An Ipsos/Axios poll in January 2025 found that 66 percent support deporting immigrants who are in the country illegally.
So, Sophie Cunningham is again in the majority. That makes her 2/2.
The Meidas Touch article even took Sophie Cunningham to task for amplifying posts that were too ‘American.’ She amplified a post strongly criticizing the comments made by Olympian Hunter Hess during the Winter Olympics.
When it comes to American pride, she is once again in the majority. According to Gallup polling, 93 percent of Republicans and 51 percent of Americans are proud of their country.
A pathetic 27 percent of Democrats are proud of their country, mainly because they don’t like that Trump is president.
Sophie Cunningham is pro-American. That makes her 3/3.
Another “gotcha” repost was a Christian-themed one that said that “rap is demonic,” among a list of innocuous observations like “marriage is work, but it’s worth it” and “the Bible and prayer always reveal the answer.”
Well, there is no way to prove that rap is demonic or not, but one thing that many people are noticing is how the music genre isn’t quite as culturally dominant now that the USAID money has been cut off. It might be a complete coincidence.
Or it might be that the left was astroturfing rap’s popularity because it is socially destructive, particularly, in black communities due to its glamorization of violence and its disrespectful lyrics about women.
Regardless of the reason, rap music just vanished from the Billboard Top 40 for the first time in 35 years. Hmmm.
So, we will chalk this up as Sophie Cunningham liking a meme that is opposed to rap music. Looks like she’s in the mainstream of American culture. Give her 4/4.

She also reposts a lot of people, including Stephen A. Smith and Pat McAfee, that are mainstream entertainers, but who aren’t exactly “Woke.”
So this is what the left has come to: Pouring over social media accounts for evidence of WrongThink. It’s as petty as it is pathetic.
