FBI Director Kash Patel provided an update on the "barbaric attack" by the transgender killer at a Minneapolis Catholic school, and said it was clearly "anti-religious."
In a post on X on Thursday, Patel wrote, "As we continue to investigate yesterday's barbaric attack from Robert Westman, the male subject, our teams have gathered information and evidence demonstrating this was an act of domestic terrorism motivated by a hate-filled ideology."

"Some updates: Subject left multiple anti-Catholic, anti-religious references both in his manifesto and written on his firearms," Patel wrote.
"Subject expressed hatred and violence toward Jewish people, writing 'Israel must fall,' 'Free Palestine,' and using explicit language related to the Holocaust," he added."He wrote an explicit call for violence against President [Donald] Trump on a firearm magazine."
"The @fbi investigation is still ongoing," Patel continued. "We will employ all of our counter-terror tools to ensure this is fully investigated and deterred. And as promised, we will continue to update when able."
The post came after one from the head of the FBI on Wednesday, following the horrific tragedy in Minnesota. Patel shared that the agency was investigating the shooting as "domestic terrorism."

Updates on the shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota:
The FBI is investigating this shooting as an act of domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics.
There were 2 fatalities, an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old. In addition, 14 children and 3 adults were injured.
The shooter has been identified as Robin Westman, a male born as Robert Westman.
The FBI will continue to provide updates on our ongoing investigation with the public as we are able.
As my RedState colleague Sister Toldjah reported, a gunman opened fire on innocent kids and adults attending mass at the church on the campus on Wednesday morning, which left two children dead and injured 17 other people, 14 of those being children.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara later told the press that "A gunman approached on the outside of the side of the building and began firing a rifle through the church windows. The shooter was armed with a rifle, shotgun, and a pistol," RedState reported.
A short time later, RedState's Teri Christoph provided an update that read:
As RedState reported earlier Wednesday, the perpetrator of the mass shooting has been identified as 23-year-old Robert Westman, who legally changed his name to the more feminine "Robin" at the request of his mother when he was still a minor. Westman appears to have left a treasure trove of incriminating evidence, including a long video posted to his YouTube page in which he thumbs through his "manifesto" and shows the camera his cache of weapons, many marked with far-left slogans.
Please stay tuned to RedState for updates, and keep the victims and their families in your prayers.
