Democratic incumbent Chris Pappas has managed to hold on to his seat in New Hampshire, overcoming a challenge from Republican Karoline Leavitt roughly 54 percent to Leavitt’s 46.
That victory helps solidify the party’s hold on the state, which polling had originally indicated might be trending to the GOP. However, those polls didn’t pan out, giving the state’s Democrats the victory on Tuesday.
Thank you, New Hampshire!
You sent a clear and powerful message: Granite Staters want leaders in Congress who work together to find common purpose and use common sense.
I’m honored to have earned your trust for another two years.
Now, back to work. #NHPolitics
