With Eight Percent Reporting, Moore Re-Takes the Lead in Alabama

It’s early, and there is a lot to still report, but Doug Jones has taken an early lead over Roy Moore.

The lead was due in large part to early results from some of the more population-dense areas of the state, Mobile and Montgomery. Via Decision Desk HQ:

Mobile: Jones 1182, Moore 502 (Trump won, but went against Moore in 2012)
Montgomery: Jones 1102, Moore 367

But, Decision Desk is working a bit faster than cable news, and they are showing that Moore has re-taken the lead with more precincts reporting.

With 139 of 2066 precincts reporting in #ALSen:
Moore – 44,651 (52.4%)
Jones -39,440 (46.3%)
Write-Ins- 1,159 (1.4%)
