On the way to the airport after his appearance at the United States District Court in Miami, Donald Trump stopped at Cafe Versailles, a famous Cuban restaurant, to pick up some fuel for the flight. Rather than sending in staff to pick it up, Trump took advantage of the opportunity to be in front of the cameras and to connect with the assembled crowd.
The crowd was supportive in every way, first praying over him:

And then singing happy birthday to him (his 77th birthday is Wednesday, June 14).
"Some birthday! We've got a government that's out of control…"

As they sang happy birthday to him, Trump said:
“Some birthday! Some birthday! We’ve got a government that’s out of control.”
Then, obviously moved by the support, he smiled and said:
“What a great group. What a great group.”
Trump also promised “food for everyone” then took a photo with Cuban-American MMA fighter Jorge Masvidal, whom he praised as a “great champ,” but, “Just don’t fight him.”

During his underdog 2016 campaign, many voters said Trump won them over because he fights and because he gave them hope that we could Make America Great Again. By getting out among the people and showing himself to be uncowed by his political prosecution and showing that fighting attitude (with an MMA fighter, no less), Trump made a powerful statement and reminded Republicans why they voted for him in the first place.
