In honor of America's July 4 250th Anniversary, the United States Department of State plans to issue limited-edition passports. The pages of this one-of-a-kind passport will feature the American flag, the Declaration of Independence, and other America-themed markings and insignia. A most significant feature: the image of President Donald J. Trump will also be a part of the book.

"As the United States celebrates America's 250th anniversary in July, the State Department is preparing to release a limited number of specially designed U.S. passports to commemorate this historic occasion," State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott told Fox News Digital.
Featuring customized artwork and enhanced imagery, Pigott maintains the identification booklets will include the "same security features that make the U.S. Passport the most secure documents in the world."
The cover of the commemorative U.S. passports has been slightly altered with the words "United States of America" enlarged and placed at the top of the passport, above the crest. The back cover will feature an American flag with "250" centered between the 13 stars featured on the 1777 version of the flag.

We renewed our passports in February. Despite the Democrats' claim that as a married woman, I would have a problem, I had no issues. After all, I am a functioning adult who keeps their birth certificate and marriage license on file. I do the same for my husband. Now our U.S. passports are kept with that essential paperwork ready for the time we can travel the world. As one of our founders, Benjamin Franklin wrote, "By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail." Democrats and Republicans could take some lessons on this.
But I am a bit put out. Had I known that the Department of State would be offering this, I might have held off. This is a most excellent marketing tool. If an estimated 50 percent of Americans do not have their U.S. Passport, then this is a way to encourage them to get one.
More importantly, it is tangible memorabilia of our 250th Anniversary. For patriot-loving Americans who want to have a piece of the America 250 celebrations, this is one of the coolest ways to have that. If you voted for President Donald Trump and support the administration, it's even more of a marker.

The commemorative America 250 passport will be available as supplies last and can only be procured directly through the passport office in Washington, D.C.
A State Department official told Fox News Digital that the new designs will be available for "any American citizen" who applies for a passport when the rollout happens and will continue for as long as there is availability. The passports will only be available at the Washington Passport Agency, the official detailed.
