By all accounts, President Trump has dominated his first 100 days in office. The president, his staff, and the Cabinet are moving in unison as I don’t think we’ve seen before. During Trump 1.0, it was like pulling teeth to get 20 percent of the agenda accomplished. That is not the case for Trump 2.0. I woke up this morning grateful that Butler, Pennsylvania, did not go as planned. The grace of God, along with the turn of a head, has put our country on a new trajectory. The “Golden Age,” as President Trump likes to put it, is just getting started.
During the Trump administration’s first 100 days, we’ve seen an ability to get things done from the executive branch in a way I don’t think we've ever experienced before. The president is relentless in his effort to get our country back on the right track. This time, we have the team to do it. We measure President Trump's success in several different ways.
First, President Trump got his Cabinet. In the early stages of the confirmation process, we didn’t know what kind of spine we would see from the GOP Senate. While we have some staunch supporters on the Republican side, there are always a few senators who can’t help but disappoint us all. While I could go on, I will give Senator Thune credit for getting these nominations across the finish line. The fact that we have Secretary Kennedy at HHS, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Tulsi Gabbard as our Director of National Intelligence is a victory I didn’t initially know we’d get.
Secondly, the White House staff has been phenomenal. Led by Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, the White House leadership team has been singing from the same songbook—an impossibility during Trump 1.0 and a huge credit to Wiles. The leaks and backbiting have been minimal, which speaks to the team's overall mission mindset to get the agenda accomplished no matter who gets the individual credit.
Third, the agencies themselves. In conjunction with strong Cabinet-level leadership, the agencies have been on a tear. I knew President Trump was going to secure the border, but I did not realize the job would be nearly finished 100 days into his second term. Border Czar Tom Homan said it this way on Fox and Friends this morning:
"He did in seven weeks what Joe Biden couldn't - or wouldn't - do in four years."
Border crossings are currently down 99 percent. Trump was right—all we needed was a new president.

The Department of Labor announced today that the administration, in just 100 days, has secured $5.2 trillion in new investments and has created 345,000 jobs in the process. DOGE savings are at a whopping $160 billion. A fact I didn’t know until today, but announced by National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, 78 terrorists have been eliminated since President Trump took office—a huge win that even the MAGA faithful may have missed.
The reality is this: the first 100 days of President Trump’s second term have been a massive success. I’ve not even mentioned the removal of DEI from the Department of Education, the administration banning men in women’s sports, the firing of career bureaucrats who have consistently worked against the Trump agenda, or that JD Vance has been an amazing vice president. When we look at the collective effort we are seeing by the executive branch, the agencies and overall staff, the future looks bright. We have a lot to look forward to, and we’re just getting started.
Team Trump has been thinking outside the box, and it’s refreshing after four years of Biden malaise.
