Those conspiracy theorists are really racking up the wins, and since all the things we were told we were crazy for thinking are proving to be the least crazy thing, I'd like to offer my own.
Apple has been sitting on a movie called "The Savant," which was supposed to come out a while back, but was stopped due to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. As reported by Variety, Apple gave it "careful consideration" and would release "the series at a future date."
Why hold the film back?
Because the film is about a woman whose entire job is to infiltrate extremist and hate groups and expose them from the inside. As you can already guess, the film depicts these extremist groups as uniformly white and right-wing.
Apple would've been an absolute laughingstock if it had released the film right after a radically left-wing person murdered Charlie, and would've undercut the message the film was trying to get across.
Which is, funny enough, the same message that the SPLC (Southern Poverty LawCenter) has been trying to get across at what literally turned out to be a great cost.
But it seems, now something has happened that caused the date of the release to suddenly arrive.

Variety interviewed lead actress Jessica Chastain on Saturday, who said they were going forward with the release.
EXCLUSIVE: Jessica Chastain tells me that Apple TV will finally release her political thriller series "The Savant" after it was postponed in September following the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Sources now tell it will likely premiere in July.

The day after it was announced it would be delayed, Chastain posted something to her Instagram that is hilarious or infuriating, depending on how you take left-wing hackery. I'll let you read it for yourself:
“I’ve never shied away from difficult subjects, and while I wish this show wasn’t so relevant, unfortunately it is,” she wrote, in part. “‘The Savant’ is about the heroes who work every day to stop violence before it happens, and honoring their courage feels more urgent than ever. While I respect Apple’s decision to pause the release for now, I remain hopeful the show will reach audiences soon. Until then, I’m wishing safety and strength for everyone, and I’ll let you know if and when ‘The Savant’ is released.”
So let's put some things together here.
The FBI has been investigating the SPLC for a bit now, and discovered they had been funneling cash to extremists and hate groups to drum up "right-leaning extremism" because it was apparently so lacking that they had to manufacture it.
Suddenly, Apple has decided that the time to release that film is upon them. Not now, of course, but just distanced out enough that the explosive reveal from the FBI might fade from memory a bit, and the narrative can be readministered through entertainment.
Coincidence?
Maybe. I'm not exactly swimming in evidence that this is a coordinated attempt at narrative control. Chastain's own company, Freckle Films, is making this movie and is being funded by Maven Screen Media, which is getting money from the UK Creative Content Eis Fund, a taxpayer-funded film creation fund from the UK government. So I can't say with any certainty that Apple is getting marching orders to release a film it's been sitting on, thanks to an inconvenient political atmosphere, but politics is involved to a degree.
But let's put the conspiracy away for a moment and focus on the film itself.
It's dead in the water.
The film was already delayed because of leftist extremism, and now it's being released after finding out right-leaning extremism is just left-wing extremism in a suit and tie. The call was coming from inside the house.
Whatever message this film was trying to send, it's now sending it to what could only be scoffing and laughter. Right-leaning extremism is about as prevalent as snow in South Texas. It's so rare and fleeting that it's more or less a novelty.
Left-wing extremism, however, is like snow in New York. It's common, deadly, and the politicians aren't too concerned about how much you're suffering from it.
