Let's pretend twins from Iran stood together in front of you, asking for entry into the U.S. for asylum. It's your job to decide who gets in and who doesn't, and you begin an interview process. One tells you that she's coming here to escape her government. She's pro-U.S., pro-freedom, and wants to make something of herself in a capitalist system. While she'll never forget her Iranian roots, she's more than willing to adopt the U.S. as her home country and become a patriotic member of our Western civilization.
The other twin says she's coming here for a better life, but will always hold Iran in her heart as her true homeland. She says nothing is more important to her than her Islamic faith and finds other religions to be not only inferior but offensive as well, and believes Sharia courts should be a standard part of any American city. Her highest ambition is the advancement of her fellow Muslim Iranians here in the United States.
If you're like me, then the choice is a no-brainer. Twin one gets the stamp of approval, while twin two gets shipped right back to her country that she loves so much.
Funny enough, the left would call this decision "racist," even though I happily let in Twin One.
At no point in this interview was race a point of concern. The race of the twins didn't matter at all. Twin Two just had beliefs that ultimately didn't match the values and societal standards of Western culture. Her agenda was domination, not integration. Her concern wasn't about uplifting and working toward the prosperity of herself and her new country, but using the abundance the country has that was built by patriots past and present to benefit her own people and their culturally based ideology at great cost to the United States.
Kicking Twin Two out saves not only a lot of money, but it may also ultimately end up saving a lot of lives, as her clearly combative nature toward Western culture only ends with combativeness toward Westerners.
It's just better for everyone, and it has everything to do with acknowledging that two cultures just aren't compatible.
Earlier, I was reading my friend and colleague Ward Clark's piece about how the UK is effectively putting the pedal to the metal on importing immigrants, and as he noted, this has self-destruction written all over it:
At worst - and I think we can anticipate the worst - it's self-destructive. We are watching Britain commit national suicide. There are some British politicians who are trying to stand in front of this thing and yell, "Stop!" Nigel Farage and his Reform Party, for example, and Rupert Lowe's Restore Britain Party; Lowe's campaign is using a rather clever slogan, "Aim High, Vote Lowe." But it's not looking good for Britain.

Resistance to this is always greeted with the same accusations of "racism" and "intolerance," and while I can't say that anyone pushing back against unfettered illegal immigration is racist, I can, with chest fully out, say they're being intolerant.
And they should be.
These people who are being imported are fully intent on erasing the culture they've migrated to. They're not looking for a better life, because if they were, then the residents wouldn't continue becoming more and more aggravated to the point of marching in the streets over it. At the very least, they're attempting to push their rule over born and bred Brits.
The race of these people means absolutely nothing in the long run. The melanin level of someone's skin does not dictate their character, their beliefs, or their capability. Rejecting someone based on race is an antiquated view of the human race that we literally fought a very bloody war to get past.
But acknowledging that one culture is not compatible with ours is not bigoted in any regard. Not importing people en masse from a country where their views on women, children, education, freedom, punishment, and law do not remotely match up with ours is, without a doubt, wisdom.
Trying to paint this with the brush of some social sin is, without a doubt, suicidal.
