Let’s say you and a bunch of people were on a ship. One day you clearly notice that there’s a giant leak in the hull and you’re taking on water. Rushing to the deck you inform everyone that the ship is slowly sinking and that unless you patch the hull, you’ll soon be underwater.
However, as you’re saying this, you’re interrupted by a group of people who begin to denounce your claim, and tell everyone that you’re not just lying, you hate the ship. This is, of course, absurd. What is absurd is that the people who are against you suddenly say that the real problem isn’t a breach in the hull, it’s the fact that the silverware is the wrong kind and that unless it’s changed the satisfaction of the ship’s services will drop drastically.
So loud and outraged are the dirty silverware people that they forget about you, and even join the silverware people in becoming angry that you’d talk about anything else. The ship sinks and sinks and your yelling about it only make you a pariah among the other passengers on the ship.
It’s a very “Ship of Fools” kind of situation that was once outlined by Aristotle, but luckily the ship’s Captain and its crew believe you and get to work patching the hull as fast as possible. This enrages the guests who demand the crew attend to the silverware.
This is the kind of situation we’re facing right now as Democrats are busy trying to make the problem anything but the real problem.
Earlier today, I reported on the fact that Sen. Elizabeth Warren is carrying water for the message that transgender murders in this country are out of control and that if she were President, she’d read aloud the name of every trans person who was murdered that year, every year.
This is, of course, not the case at all. While any murder is a bad murder, statistically speaking, transgender people are one of the safer groups here in America. As Tucker Carlson pointed out while he was debunking Warren’s claim, there are much greater problems out there.

For instance, as I was checking out the news of the day, an interesting article from the Free Beacon popped up. According to data from the New York Police Department, antisemitic crimes are the most frequent in New York, dwarfing out all the others by leaps and bounds.
Interestingly enough, despite the fact that it’s the most common, it’s also the hate crime that results in the least arrests, whereas transgender hate crimes equal out to an arrest every complaint that’s made.
Jewish leaders aren’t blaming the police, though, they’re blaming the politicians who craft policies that make that kind of thing possible.
Why all this virtue signaling?
Because this virtue signaling is likely to create voting blocs. Meaning, if you don’t belong to one of the protected groups that may earn the Democrat a vote, then not only will you not be afforded the same protections as the protected classes, you may find yourself being looked down on enough that you may be neglected when your time of need comes.
This isn’t just a domestic problem either. Democrats and our media have proved that when push comes to shove, they will side with our very enemies against us if it means that they’ll do any kind of damage to their political opponents. As they continue to try to paint President Donald Trump as the bad guy, they also try to make Iran seem like they aren’t all that bad, and even a victim in some cases.

Clearly, the Democrats have aside, and there’s a strong chance that you’re not on it unless you fall into a certain kind of identity category. God help you if you do fall into one of those categories and still exhibit any kind of independence.
The ludicrous part of all of this is that Democrats can literally watch ruin coming on and will welcome it with open arms if it means they can regain or grow power.
Vote accordingly.
