Trump Taunts Beto About His "Tiny Little Line"

President Donald Trump’s stop in El Paso last night contained a lot of memorable moments with lots of cheers, boos, chants of “USA” and, just in case you forgot it was a Trump rally, a few insults thrown toward his political opponents.

This time, the target was failed Texas Senate candidate Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, who just so happened to be holding a rally not far from Trump’s. The two were both focusing on the border, with Trump making his case for the wall, and O’Rourke making the opposite appeal.

It would appear the people chose which line they wanted to be in.

Before Trump had left for the rally on Air Force One, he gave a press conference describing the scene in El Paso as the people awaited his arrival.

“We have a line that is very long already, I’m mean you see what’s going on,” said Trump, “and I understand our competitor’s got a line too, but it’s a tiny little line.”

“Of course (the media) make it sound like they have more people than we do. That’s not going to happen,” added Trump.

According to Trump’s Campaign Manager Brad Parscale, O’Rourke’s line was indeed tiny compared to Trump’s as those showing up to see the President speak dwarfed Ted Cruz’s defeated opponent by thousands.

O’Rourke’s counter-rally was focused on the “true story about the border,” which apparently only around 900 people considered to be the real story. In showing, that definitely makes Trump’s line far longer than Beto’s.

O’Rourke has recently slipped from 3rd to 4th in the Democratic polls in terms of who Democrats want to see run for President, having been unseated by Kamala Harris.
