WaPo Sets Out to ‘Prove’ Racist Bigotry in the GOP, Manages to Indict Democrats in the Process

It is forever an amusement to see the Left and the media (redundancy noted) constantly trotting out charges of “racism.” This is something perpetually directed at Republicans and conservatives, all while the evidence provided means you would need a jeweler’s loupe to locate something that would rise to the level of “scant.”

The president is racist for enforcing immigration laws. Nick Shirley is racist for discovering swaths of fraudulent daycare centers while not discovering any actual children therein. POC ICE agents in Minnesota are racists for detaining people who are in the country illegally. You recognize the drill…and you are probably racist for noticing.

READ MORE: There Is a Groyper Candidate for Florida Governor Who Is Extremely Popular – With the Press

I recently covered how the press has been straining to insist that a GOP candidate in Florida, who has a history of bigoted comments, is a stain on the party, all while he is polling around the same line of popularity as property taxes. Now the Washington Post has come out with a piece that definitively proves there is “bigotry among young conservatives,” and frankly, we would not normally recognize such a wan effort. Still, the comedy contained is too much to let pass. Seriously, if this is what is left on the staff of WaPo, they severely misjudged who it was they retained during the layoffs.

Hannah Knowles is the one they have looking into this problem, and it takes no effort whatsoever to come across the problem with her journalism. Ms. Knowles was not at all deterred, as she provided the contradiction to her very conclusion right there in the subheader.

After her headline blared that this claimed bigotry of conservatives “Has Republicans on Edge,” she followed that with a statement showing the GOP is rather distanced from said cliff. “Many Republicans dismiss such party members…” Huh. It would seem conservatives are bothered to the point of practically rolling their eyes.

Now, we will allow that maybe she did not have a hand in crafting the headline, but this means someone else noted the paradox and sought to ease the hype. What clearly did not take place was an editor pulling Hannah aside and letting her know she was drifting into territory that would impact the other party. But the Post did forge ahead, all the same.

Knowles next undercut her claims even more, as she relied on evidence of her discovered bigotry on the Right in the form of Nick Fuentes. Several members of the press are particularly focused on Fuentes, in much the same way we saw them years ago, attuned to the activities involving Q-Anon. And in both of these cases, the insistence was on smearing Republicans, seen in how the primary way conservatives are aware of Q, or Nick Fuentes, is when the press reports on them.

Knowles starts with a Fuentes devotee who is a Holocaust “revisionist.” She comes up with a connection to the Republican Party thusly:

He roamed a national conference for young conservatives with his friends, joined at one point by an acquaintance on the event staff for the host group, Turning Point USA.

Clearly, that level of contact should indicate this is an impactful source that is guiding policy decisions in Congress.

As Knowles came up with a number of examples of young men in conservative orbits who have had questionable comments emerge, almost to a person, they were tied back to one source – the moronic man-child Nick Fuentes. Thinking that anyone with a functioning brainpan would be drawn into the Fuentes groyper movement is a wild claim. These are troll-level hormonal simpletons who are roundly ignored in political circles.

Knowles even illustrates the lack of influence these antisemitic Bic Lighter firebrands wield. At that same conference, a straw poll asked if they viewed Israel as an ally of the U.S., and close to 90 percent agreed. But here is where the entire enterprise for the reporter fell apart.

As much work as she put into this piece to draw all the connections to Fuentes within the Republican Party, like tying lines of red string on a conspiracy wall, she could have benefited by looking into Fuentes himself. Nick is not a MAGA mouthpiece of any sort, but more than that, he has become a voice of opposition. This hardly becomes a surprise when you look at who we are partnered with in the Iranian mission. Earlier this month, Fuentes came out with harsh criticism of Donald Trump and called for his groyper army to turn on the president.

There was Fuentes, the Nazi sympathizer who is supposedly coddled by the Republican Party, not only disavowing President Trump, but telling his stunted minions that they should vote for the Democratic Party. I guess this could mean Nick should be considered an “out-fluencer”!

One name never does manage to get mentioned in this exploration of bigotry found in the party: Graham Platner. You know, the Maine Democrat who sported the Nazi tattoo for a pair of decades and appeared on a white supremacist podcast, of which he was a fan? And this would be a good time for the likes of Hannah Knowles and other desperate souls in the press to sit back and ponder why these SS-tupid punks following Fuentes would be so enamored of the Republican Party that has been boldly in league with the Jewish state.

Would it not be logical to see these dolts leaning towards the party that has been making excuses for the antisemitism over the past few years? The Democrats have been openly hostile towards Israel, and they were the group waving off the blatant anti-Jewish sentiment seen on college campuses. They were the ones who saw Kamala Harris bypass the strongest running mate choice because Josh Shapiro was Jewish. (And they were distinctly low-key in outrage after his home was firebombed by an anti-Israel activist.)

It sure seems that when it comes to a bigotry problem, the focus should be on the party on the Left. Given the revelation that her primary source of proof is backing the other party, we look forward to Knowles writing a follow-up piece. That is sure to come, after she badgers Democrats about what they intend to do with their Nick Fuentes problem!
