As my colleague Nick Arama reported earlier Monday, a maniac allegedly set off an incendiary device at 26 Federal Plaza and threatened pedestrians in New York City and was promptly taken into custody. Luckily, there were only two minor injuries. 26 Federal Plaza houses many federal agencies, including the FBI and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the suspect was found to have anti-ICE messaging on his belongings.
The FBI said they were investigating it as a possible "antigovernment attack.”
Border Czar Tom Homan knows exactly why these types of attacks continue: Democrats have dialed up the violent anti-ICE rhetoric so high that it’s a question of “when” and not “if” some deranged extremist will be consumed by his rage and lash out.
Appearing on Fox & Friends Sunday, he went ballistic:

He also noted that, despite the danger, ICE remains undeterred and is planning to surge operations in the Big Apple. He warned sanctuary city proponent Democratic Socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani, "It's coming."

On Monday, meanwhile, following the NYC incident, he had more to say, speaking emotionally to reporters in the White House driveway about how ICE agents are actually human beings just doing their jobs enforcing laws that were enacted by the U.S. Congress:

He reminds the violent left that ICE agents are moms and dads too, and that attacks on them are also attacks on their families.
"It's not just an attack on the ICE agents, it's an attack on their spouses and children! No one knows that better than ME."
As the Left keeps up its nasty campaign to demonize ICE agents as Nazis and stormtroopers — when all they’re doing is trying to clean up the disastrous mess left by former President Joe Biden and his “let-them-all-in” immigration policy — it’s actually extremely lucky that we haven’t seen any officers killed.
If they are in the future, you’ll know just who to blame.
