Should We Feel Bad That Hunter's Artwork Was Destroyed by the CA Wildfires? No. Here's Why.

The old expression goes, "Don't kick a man when he's down," and right now, the Biden Crime Family is very, very down. I try not to relish too much the humiliation of Kamala being forced to certify President-elect Trump's victory after he crushed her in the election, Joe having to go through the motions of being commander-in-chief knowing that he and his vision has been utterly repudiated and pretty much no one cares anymore what he has to say, and Jill’s being forced to smile for her fawning media fans when we know she’s crying inside.

It can’t be easy.

But the Bidens make it hard not to feel a little schadenfreude, seeing as they will not exit gracefully, and they keep sowing their division as they cling to just a few more days of relevancy. First Lady Jill whining about Pelosi’s betrayal of Joe, even when she’s one of the most power-hungry conniving figures in Washington herself, Biden himself throwing roadblock after roadblock in front of Trump as the soon-to-be president prepares to take office, then delivering a bleak farewell speech Wednesday night while the Democrats conduct themselves shamelessly in this week’s Cabinet confirmation hearings.

So when I saw the news that some of First Son Hunter’s artwork got torched in the devastating wildfires, I thought, “That must suck for him.” My sister and my late grandfather are artists—I can only imagine how heartbroken they’d be if their studios and everything in them were destroyed.

My sympathy lasted about ten seconds though, and ended right when I read that a source is claiming said work was worth “millions.”

Report: Hunter Biden Artworks Worth 'Millions of Dollars' Burned Up in LA Fires

If his oeuvre were ever worth “millions,” it sure as heck isn’t now that his famous father is soon going to be just Regular Joe Sleeping With His Mouth Open on the Beach. Here’s what happened:

A trove of nearly 200 artworks by Hunter Biden has been destroyed — one of the casualties of the wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, The Post has learned.

The controversial art had been in storage near the Pacific Palisades home of Hunter’s Hollywood attorney Kevin Morris and is valued at “millions of dollars,” a source close to the Biden family said.

Morris, who loaned the first son nearly $5 million to help pay a tax bill and has been financing a documentary on him, lives in a sprawling five-bedroom, six-bathroom home which is among the few houses still intact in the posh neighborhood, The Post can confirm.

Who's Buying Hunter Biden's Art? Baby Mama Aims to Find out in Child Support Case

RedState’s Ward Clark breaks down how it was all just another hustle for Biden and Co.:

It was, without doubt, one of the shallowest, most obvious money-laundering efforts undertaken by any member of the Biden family, and that's really saying something. Hunter's "art" was reminiscent of what might result from a bomb going off in a paint factory when a truck loaded with bolts of canvas sat parked outside; a talented kindergartner could finger-paint more compelling art than Hunter's best efforts. But somehow, Hunter's daubs gained some acclaim in the art community - at least the art community that was willing to help the Biden family to launder bribes - and the paintings sold for, wonder of wonders, a lot of money.

The news can’t help but remind us that Crooked Joe—after months of promising he would not pardon his son for tax violations, gun charges, and even potential overseas business corruption—did exactly that and gave him a Get Out of Jail Free card for the entire period of Jan. 1, 2014, to Dec. 1, 2024. Staggering.

Then we can’t help but be reminded that the whole “Hunter’s an artist” thing was a grift from the start. Maybe he has some talent — I’m not an expert and find much of modern art to be indiscernible from schoolchildren’s efforts, but that’s not the point. The reality is it was yet another Biden family moneymaker:

[Hunter’s Sugar Daddy Kevin] Morris bought $875,000 worth of Hunter’s artworks via Berges, many of them of flowers on Japanese paper, he said.

Berges told a congressional panel investigating the Biden family’s assets last year that Hunter knew the people who bought most of his art, despite assurances from the White House that buyers would be kept secret to avoid a conflict of interest with the president.

In addition to Morris, Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali was named as another buyer. She obtained works before and after scoring a prestigious presidential appointment, according to reports.

There are so many tragedies coming out of the LA wildfires, and so many people—including my friends—who have lost so much. Call me cold-hearted, but the loss of some of Hunter’s “million-dollar” paintings isn’t bringing tears to my eyes.
