Baby, It's Cold Inside—Biden-Kamala Relationship Said to Be 'Frosty' After Dem Electoral Wipeout

“Elections have consequences.” Barack Obama, 2009.

So said the cocky new president during a meeting with congressional Republicans not long after his 2008 election win. Although he was right, it wasn’t exactly in line with his campaign theme: "There are no red states or blue states, just the United States."

He went on to spend eight years proving his unifying rhetoric meant nothing.

Those words about "consequences" are now coming back to haunt the Democrats as they find themselves on the losing end of elections and are in disarray and discord as they all try to find someone besides themselves who they can blame for their failures.

I’m no fan of (yes, she still is the) Vice President Kamala Harris, yet even I can admit that she was given a losing hand – courtesy of our doddering, conniving President Joe Biden. Yes, folks, he is still the president of the United States, though it certainly doesn’t feel like it.

According to the Wall Street Journal, however, there’s no love lost between the two parties:

President Biden and Jill Biden's relationship with Vice President Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff has been rocky after the vice president lost the election to President-elect Donald Trump, according to a new report.

The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that the "postelection rapport" between the Bidens and the Harris family has sometimes been "frosty," in private, citing people familiar with the relationship.

Harris took the president's place at the top of the Democratic ticket after a weeks-long pressure campaign forced Biden to drop out of the race in July. The president was lauded as a hero and a patriot for dropping out, but he's taken blame in recent weeks for not getting out sooner in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump's victory.

America said, "No thanks":

The electorate said, "enough":

Their relationship never recovered after Kamala basically accused Joe of being a white supremacist racist during the 2019 Democrat primary presidential debates. Even though Dr. Jill reportedly never forgave Harris for the slight, Biden picked her as his VP anyway because she checked off the preferred boxes. That move alone showed he was not ready to lead—only to follow:

Once Biden was shivved by Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Barack Obama and forced out of the race, he pretended to back Kamala but seemingly did everything in his power to undermine her:

During the last few weeks of the campaign, Harris' team was frustrated with the president's appearances in public. Biden made a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room in early October, and then made headlines at the end of October when he said Trump supporters were "garbage," although the White House denied that was his intention.

Harris repeatedly defended the president against attacks on his age, fitness and ability to serve, even after the president dropped out.

Biden has expressed regret over dropping out of the race, according to a report from the Washington Post, and said he thinks he could have beaten Trump.

I feel exactly zero sympathy for Ms. Harris because she was a historically terrible candidate and exactly the wrong answer for the United States at this crucial juncture. She hitched her ride with perhaps the most craven politician ever to occupy the White House, and she and hers deserve every bit of humble pie they should be and will be served.

Elections have consequences. Biden and Haris have perhaps—hopefully—set the Democrat (Marxist) party back decades, and all I can say is that you deserve each other.

History will not be kind to either of you, and sorry (not sorry) to be ghoulish, but for me, that makes it a very Happy New Year indeed. Enjoy!
