The shooter in the horrific shooting at a Nashville Christian school legally purchased seven guns from five different stores before the attack that left six people dead, Nashville Police Chief John Drake revealed Tuesday. Three of the guns were used in the rampage.

The transgender killer had also been receiving treatment for an unspecified “emotional disorder,” Drake said on “CBS Mornings.” However, “law enforcement knew nothing about the treatment,” he added.

Her parents were unaware that she possessed firearms, according to CBS News:

The parents of the shooter, 28-year-old Audrey Hale, were unaware she had access to so many guns, Drake told reporters Tuesday. “They felt that she had one weapon and that she sold it,” Drake said…

“Her parents felt that she should not own weapons.”

No evidence has been found that the shooter targeted specific people, police spokesman Don Aaron said at a Tuesday press conference. “This school, this church building was a target of the shooter,” he added.

Hale was a former student at the institution, The Covenant School, which serves preschool through 6th grade. She had maps of the school and detailed plans including even what she would wear.

Drake also revealed that the killer had other possible targets including a mall, and possibly even family members.

Three nine-year-old children were killed in the attack: Evelyn Dieckhaus, William Kinney, and Hallie Scruggs. Meanwhile, three school employees were also gunned down—Mike Hill, 61, Katherine Koonce, 60, and Cynthia Peak, 61.

As RedState reported, the Nashville PD released intense bodycam footage Tuesday showing the moment officers found and fired on the shooter, killing her. Our own Bonchie lauded their actions and showed how it once again highlighted the horrible, ineffective response of police during the Uvalde, Texas school shooting in May 2022.

Although this a tragic, awful situation, there’s a ludicrous aspect to it as well—some journalists are focused on what pronouns to use when discussing the murderer. Bonchie had thoughts on this as well, and eloquently slammed those who would rather worry about gender than the deaths of innocent children and adults:

But as the aftermath of the tragedy played out, the national press latched onto what was really important: Ensuring that the “right” pronouns are used to describe the murderous psychopath.

Truly, this is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen the news media do, and I have to make sure and temper myself as I finish this article so as to not lose my mind in anger in the process.

He went on to show how outlets like MSNBC, USA Today, the New York Times, and others seemed more concerned about “misgendering” than they did about the fact that a crazed lunatic had just gone on a rampage.

Like the Uvalde shooter, Hale had shown troubling signs that something was very, very wrong, but unfortunately, those signs went unnoticed. Thankfully, the Nashville PD acted heroically, or this tragedy could have been even worse.

Democrats and the media will continue trying to blame Ultra-MAGA Republicans and AR-15s for this awful shooting, but the fact is this disturbed woman was a psychopath, and nobody seems to have connected the dots and triggered the alarm.
