What's the role of a school superintendent? Judging by a recent job posting, responsibilities are in flux.
Minnesota's St. Louis Park Public Schools [SLPS] district has placed a new entry onto its job board. The system seeks an assistant superintendent who's woke and will whack white supremacy.
From SLPSchools.tedk12.com:
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Superintendent’s leadership team, the Assistant Superintendent proactively supports the Superintendent to create and communicate antiracist structures and systems, works to interrupt systems of oppression, and serves as a role model for culturally relevant pedagogy.

For those unfamiliar, "antiracism" pits white assailants against tanner victims. UCLA Law Professor Kimberlé Crenshaw has described it thusly:
"Antiracism is the active dismantling of systems, privileges, and everyday practices that reinforce and normalize the contemporary dimensions of white dominance."
In that regard, Minneapolis-area SLPS wants a worker who's on fire:
[The right candidate is] unwaveringly committed to antiracist actions and [uses] data to adapt and sustain [his or her] efforts towards racial equity to plan, direct, and coordinate action to achieve the mission and strategic objectives.
A quick glance at job-finder Indeed.com reveals traditional school-district supervisory duties such as these...
- Provide support and assistance to elementary school principals
- Provide leadership to elementary principals
- Respond to issues and questions from building administrators, teachers, parents, and community
- Oversee the review and administration of the student discipline, suspension, and expulsion policies
- Motivate, supervise and evaluate assigned personnel in accordance with district policies and guidelines
But St. Louis Park Public Schools has more specific activities in mind. Evidently, a KKK-ish cancer has infiltrated its houses of learning; resources must be corralled to defeat the disease. The aim is right in line with contemporary culture:

SLPS itemizes required "Knowledge, Skills and Abilities":
- Racially conscious and committed to equity work. Possesses a clear personal commitment to advancing racial equity and racial consciousness. They prioritize their own racial equity journey and set clear expectations for themselves and others in their pursuit of racial equity goals. They are skilled in using racial equity tools to achieve these objectives.
- They...examine the presence and role of “Whiteness” in systems and structures, and are open to feedback regarding their own racial blind spots. Fosters joy and cultivates a culture of accountability for systemic racial equity transformation.
A job applicant "unwaveringly committed" to the idea that whites are oppressors of blackness will be robustly rewarded: The position's pay starts at $134,141.
It tops out at $201,212.
Systemic racism is a curious thing: Certainty of its existence denotes it has been precisely found; yet it appears to never be specifically removed. Instead, organizations just keep hiring enlightened people to oppose it. And despite white supremacy's reported presence at every turn, there seems to be a dearth of people identifying as white supremacists. Hopefully, Powers That Be will soon find all the elusive Aryan elitists. For now, they look to have pinpointed a paltry few:
