Noted control freak, Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, went on a mini-rant Friday complaining she can’t get answers from the Federal Government about when states are going to get more vaccine from the Feds that was promised. The irony of her complaint is that citizens of Michigan have been asking to see the science and the data for months she says her decisions are based on.

How does that feel Gretch?

Michigan is waiting for doses of the Pfizer vaccine against COVID-19, but federal delays mean they are sitting in Portage waiting to be shipped instead of being administered to frontline workers, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said in a press conference Friday.

“I still cannot get a straight answer out of the Trump administration about why Michigan, like many other states, is receiving a fraction of the vaccines that we were slated to receive,” Whitmer said.

She put a call in to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Asar’s office but hasn’t been able to get ahold of them. When she does, she has a simple question: “Where are our doses? What is holding them up? When can we expect them?”

“I’m angry because this virus is raging on in this country. And there is either corruption or ineptitude. And it’s keeping us from saving lives and protecting people,” Whitmer said.

Obviously, the head of a very inefficient, bloated bureaucracy is ticked off at the bigger inefficient bureaucracy and she thinks throwing a temper tantrum on LIVE T.V. will get her some answers.

Well, it did.

According to Roop Raj from Fox 2 Detroit, he reached out to the White House for a response to the Governors tirade and a source at the White House responded.

President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed ( OWS) is delivering millions of doses of safe and effective vaccines five times faster than ever before. Governor Whitmer understands that each week she received an allocation of thousands of doses from the manufactures and OWS, and she directs their delivery. It’s unfortunate that she has chosen to be dishonest and play politics when this life-saving effort a unifying national achievement that will lead to the end of the pandemic for the citizens of Michigan, all of the United States, and the world.- White house Offical.

I suspect the real issue here is that the White House has not shipped everything they projected 2 or 3 weeks ago. Well duh. The government always overpromises and under-delivers. Whitmer has done this for two years as Governor and has this bit down perfect ( Fix The Damn Roads) so why she is even playing like she is stunned is almost an academy award performance. The second part of this is that some of these doses are sitting in a plant warehouse in Michigan and being she is the Queen Bee here in the state, she probably thinks she should get it N-O-W and use them how the state has planned.

The vaccines are on their way. In fact, they are ahead of the schedule that most of these jobs killing political goobers were spewing and predicting out two months ago. I kept hearing we were at least a year away or longer. In fact, Gretch’s good pal Andrew Cuomo over in New York was saying we should not trust the vaccine under POTUS 45.

Remember that? I sure do.

So how about if we stop the theatrics and just continue to work to get the job done and don’t do the public shaming that you hate the President for.
