We already have the mask police wanting to dictate how everyone should live, can the vaccine iron fist brigade be far behind? We should pay attention to what our British cousins across the pond are discussing to get an idea of how this debate will shape up here. Because you can bet your sweet patootie that this argument is going to hit our shores sooner rather than later and the virtue signaling of the mask Gestapo will be given a steroid injection that would make Arnold Schwarzenegger envious.

UK workers could find themselves banned from pubs, restaurants, and possibly even the workplace if they refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine, according to a senior MP.

Speaking with HuffPost UK’s Commons People podcast, as noted by Metro, Conservative Tom Tugendhat has warned that he could ‘certainly see the day’ when proof of vaccination was required to return to normal life.

‘If vaccination works and if we’re confident it’s safe, and all indications so far are good, then I can certainly see the day when businesses say: “Look, you’ve got to return to the office and if you’re not vaccinated you’re not coming in,”‘ he added.

“And I can certainly see social venues asking for vaccination certificates.” That said, a government mandate over the vaccine is reportedly not on the immediate horizon, per Health Minister Matt Hancock.

Not on the immediate horizon. I always love that that tampered down warning.

The argument here in the states has been raging for close to a decade about whether or not kids should have all the required vaccinations mandated by school districts. IF you don’t like the requirement as a parent there are options to still have your child attend school if you choose not to do that. The government allows for that option via law.

However, how do you mandate that to participate in everyday life once again or as we like to say here at Red State, B.C.V. ( Before China Virus) that you have to SHOW YOUR PAPERS to go to work or have a beer at the local pub after work? That will take some heavy lifting from State and Federal legislators that will then need to write thousands of pages of rules and regulations that only the most zealous government wonk will know. Companies will be inundated with a handbook full of laws that they will never be able to read all the way through and have to hire lawyers to do the work for them.

Plus, we already know the arguments of the pez dispensers of illogic who will claim that if you don’t agree with anything like this then you are selfish, hate old people, hate young people, and are just so mean to actually think for yourself. If you don’t believe me just go to any local Facebook page and see them preening for all to see just about how incredibly virtuous they are. They spew these talking points almost in the same order each and every time and no matter how much info you throw at them to consider, they can’t bother with actually learning or debating rationally being they get past just how awesome they are for caring more than you.

They are a hoot to watch.

I know that I will consider getting the COVID CURE after the first 4 or 5 million get it and gauge how it is working. I’m not against getting a flu shot or anything else if the data shows it can help. However, after watching 20 minutes of the walking dead once, I’m pretty sure the corpses were created by the government forcing you to do something like drink water near a nuke plant or get a vaccine to go to a restaurant.

I just won’t do it if some wonk in Washington or Lansing thinks it is best for me and my fellow LEAVE US ALONE citizen brigade and wants to force anyone to take one and I will work my @ss off to defeat at the ballot box any person who wants to be our nanny.
