Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a plan for post-Hamas Gaza, and he shared it with the world Monday as he met with President Trump at the White House. The men appeared side-by-side, and each man laid out his plan for, among other things, ensuring the return of all hostages, whether dead or alive, and the complete disarming of the terror organization.

President Trump has a 20-point plan called the "Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict," which includes the United States playing a role in stabilizing and developing the region; this does not appear to involve the U.S. providing boots on the ground.

The Mamdani Chronicles: Now He Refuses to Denounce Hamas

Trump's entire plan is included in the tweet below, but here's how RedState's Ward Clark summarized things: "Still, this is an agenda that Israel and non-insane Gazans should look on with favor. And, if President Trump can pull this off, well, if that doesn't ring some bells in Oslo, then the Nobel committee must be sleeping off a binge of stupid."

Netanyahu whittled down his "Day After Hamas" plan to five "principles my government set for the end of the war." He noted, "Everybody asks, 'What is your plan for the day after Hamas?' Here's our plan -- passed it in the Cabinet."

NETANYAHU: All of our hostages -- both those who are alive and those who died -- all of them will return home immediately.

Hamas will be disarmed.

Gaza will be demilitarized.

Israel will retain security responsibility, including the security perimeter, for the foreseeable future.

And, lastly, Gaza will have a peaceful civilian administration that is run neither by Hamas nor by the Palestinian Authority.

After laying out the five main objectives of the Israeli government, Netanhayu then turned to Trump and said, "If Hamas agrees to your plan, Mr. President, the first step will be a modest withdrawal followed by the release of all our hostages within 72 hours. The next step will be the establishment of an international body charged with fully disarming Hamas and demilitarizing Gaza. I appreciate your willingness to lead the body, Mr. President."

The Israeli P.M. made it clear that President Trump and the United States will have a key role in seeing that the peace plan for Gaza is successfully enacted. Netanhayu continued, "If this international body succeeds, we will have permanently ended the war. Israel will conduct further withdrawals linked to the extent of disarmament and demilitarization, but will remain in the security perimeter for the foreseeable future."

More from Bibi:

We're giving everybody a chance to have this done peacefully, something that will achieve all our war objectives without any further bloodshed.

But, if Hamas rejects your plan, Mr. President [...] then Israel will finish the job by itself. This can be done the easy way, or this can be done the hard way, but it will be done.

Netanyahu concluded his statement by saying, "We prefer the easy way, but it has to be done."

Looks like the ball is now squarely in Hamas' court.
