Jill Filipovic is the author of some nonsense called “The H-Spot: The Feminist Pursuit of Happiness.” She’s a radical feminist, natch, and, as such, is prone to long Twitter screeds about how awful the pro-life GOP is and how they want to keep women in the Stone Age. Yadda, yadda, yadda.
She had a bee in her bonnet today, for sure, and went on a many-tweets-long tirade about abortion and contraception. It’s not worth sharing most of her tweets, as the tirade took the tried-and-true feminist path of abortion good, pro-life bad, GOP horrendous.
Until she played the class card. Then things got interesting. And awesome.
All of it points to what conservatives think is ideal: Middle-class women at home with their babies, lower-class women filling service jobs.

Liberals play the race/class/gender cards when they run low on ammunition. The skeptic might say Ms. Filipovic is merely trying gin up interest in her book with such dreck. Charles C.W. Cooke of National Review Online had the perfect response:
@JillFilipovic What do we want the upper-class women doing?

SHUT. DOWN.
And that, ladies and gents, is how it’s done.
