Vladimir Lenin, the communist revolutionary and Marxist leader of the Soviet Union during the early 1900s, once said: “Give me just one generation of youth, and I’ll transform the world.” Adolph Hitler, the leader of the National Socialist German Worker’s Party (Nazi Party), once said something similar: “He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.”
While education is obviously important, recent events on the left coast in California and the state of Washington by the liberal extremists educating our children are giving parents good reason to heed the words of these two dictators.
Do you remember the story about the 4-year-old preschooler in Colorado who was expelled after her parents attempted to opt out their child from curriculum promoting sexuality, same-sex relations, and gender issues? That’s nothing compared to what happening in the state of Washington following a new curriculum just approved by the state.
Beginning in the fall of 2017, all Washington state public schools will begin teaching kindergarteners to accept sexual confusion (transgenderism) as normal; something to be embraced. Under the new standards, 5-year-old children will be taught to understand that “there are many ways to express gender.” They will also instruct them on a series lessons about “safe” vs “unwanted touch,” essentially introducing these moldable minds to the concept of giving sexual consent.
By third grade, children will be taught to respect “gender identity choices,” and idea that is expanded in the fourth grad when they are also taught how to influence ideas on gender. In fifth grade, they will learn how to use social media to spread the message. And by seventh grade, they will begin making judgements on transgenderism.
Last fall, California made so-called “conversion therapy” of children illegal because “practitioners of conversion therapy are unlicensed, and many have religious training rather than medical training.” But even when the goal isn’t the promotion of sexual deviance and confusion, the Golden State targets Christians in other ways.
Recently, a public school ordered a 7-year-old boy to stop handing out Bible verses during his lunch period, even sending the local sheriff to the boy’s home to enforce the unconstitutional directive.
Here’s what happened.
The mother of the first-grader would put a note of encouragement, along with a Bible verse, in the boy’s lunch. The boy often shared the notes with his classmates, which became quite popular. That’s when a teacher at Desert Rose Elementary told the mother it had to stop because it violated the non-existent “separation of church and state.” And even though the parents initially complied with their instructions, the school sent the law to their home to make sure they complied.
In a statement on the issue, superintendent of Palmdale School District Raul Maldonado launched damage control:
“The District remains committed to ensuring an environment where all students, regardless of religious affiliation or belief, are free to learn and reach their full potential.”
Apparently, the “religious affiliation or belief” of the 7-year-old boy fails to meet his politically-correct explanation.
Vladimir Lenin and Adolph Hitler knew that their radical agenda could advance if they could indoctrinate and brainwash the children. On the left coast, under the influence of the liberal extremists being passed off as teachers, they seem to have grasped this concept.
