Apple cider vinegar — yes, the same stuff sitting in your pantry for salad dressings and occasional window cleaning.

Trump Decimates Reporter Who Asked What May Be Worst Question Ever About Battle With Iran

He's absolutely right. They have concerns about him? What about most of the media being honest about the threats from Iran? Or acknowledging that we're here now with Trump having to deal with it because of the actions of Barack Obama, which helped to prop up the mullahs without actually addressing the problem. Trump's main point in taking action there was to stop a nuclear weapon from being used.

"He has far more compassion for those who break the rules to enter our nation than for the innocent Americans left behind to bury their children ... Illinois deserves better. Voters should remember who stood with grieving families—and who didn’t."

Amen. Remember in November.

He closed by drawing a contrast that was clean, blunt, and genuinely hard to argue with: "We don't have to defend our racists because we don't know who they are because you create them. Meanwhile, we don't have to make up your racists because you're standing there with Hasan Piker. These guys are right there in our face."

MORNING MUSING

I'm old enough that I remember that old 80s ad campaign for Vicks that included the tagline: "I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV."

I was reminded of it Thursday when I saw the story about Democrat Virginia State Senator Lamont Bagby, who asserted that he understood rural voters quite well because he... "grew up with Opie [from the Andy Griffith show]" and watching shows like The Dukes of Hazzard, and The Waltons.

My immediate reaction, shared with my RedState colleagues, was: "Given all the time I spent watching E.R. and Grey's Anatomy (not to mention M*A*S*H and others), I'm ready to gown up. Who needs surgery?"

I've got to hand it to Bagby: He took that old 80s concept and went it one better. He's gone from "...but I play one on TV" to "I'm not a rural voter, but I watched them on TV."

Oh, okay, Lamont. Then by all means...do go on.
