There are some subjects Newsom just plain shouldn’t brag about: homelessness, affordability, betrayal, and of course, the price at the pump. Somebody might want to alert his comms team.
Stabbing Spree in United Kingdom, Pictures of Attacker Released
Western nations are going to have to start taking these threats seriously, and the United Kingdom's long-running appeasement strategy of papering over these incidents hasn't shown itself to be effective.
Buffalo’s ‘Independent’ School Report Confirms Systemic Failures Raised by Whistleblower
For Buffalo parents, taxpayers, and law enforcement professionals, the question is no longer whether this controversy will fade. It is whether Buffalo Public Schools will meaningfully reform its safety systems — or wait for the next incident to expose them again. For parents nationwide, the scandal rocking Buffalo has cast new scrutiny on safety procedures and law enforcement cooperation, which have been largely taken for granted.

LUCAS is, if I am correct, fundamentally different because of the addition of Starlink. If I am right, this will change the strategic calculus a lot, especially since no other country has the kind of access to Starlink that we do.
The Reason Trump Struck Iran That the Left Doesn’t Want You to Know
The Democrats don’t want you to know about this. They want us to believe Trump abused his authority by striking Iran, because they’re looking for pretexts to impeach once they’re back in the majority.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth Updated Us on Operation Epic Fury. Here's What He Said.
"We are not defenders anymore, we are warriors, trained to kill the enemy and break their will. History is watching," Hegseth added.
The fast-food giant has a new burger called the 'Big Arch,' and CEO Chris Kempczinski is featured in a video promoting it. The only problem is that many say it looks like he’s not enjoying the sandwich.
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
There are no formal meetings/hearings scheduled for Monday on the Hill, but the Senate is set to convene in the afternoon and hold a vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Housing for the 21st Century Act at 5:30 PM Eastern. In the wake of Iran's retaliatory strikes, there will be enhanced security measures in place at the Capitol.
Fox is told that there will be “enhanced security measures” at the U.S. Capitol beginning tonight and tomorrow because of concerns about terrorism in the wake of the Iran strikes.

⁰There is no concrete threat to the Capitol. But there is concern – especially as Congress comes…

The Supreme Court continues hearing oral argument on Monday, this time in a key Second Amendment case:
- United States v. Hemeni – Whether 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(3), the federal statute that prohibits the possession of firearms by a person who "is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance," violates the Second Amendment as applied to respondent.
COMING ATTRACTIONS
All I'm going to say here is that the last line of this section in Friday's Morning Minute was: "Could be a busy weekend... "
Just a mild understatement.
MORNING MUSING
I'd be lying if I claimed to have any particular insight into how President Donald Trump will ultimately be remembered by the history books. Some, like Iranian opposition leader Reza Pahlavi, are confident that he will be celebrated.
“[President Trump] will go down in the annals of Iranian history as the most-celebrated foreign leader that changed the ballgame and changed the world as a result,” says Reza Pahlavi, a leader of the Iranian opposition to the Islamic Republic. https://t.co/XmfcU4VAhc pic.twitter.com/rmo7i6K02T

That he's a lightning rod is undeniable. What's also undeniable is his impact on the American landscape — and that of the World.
Don't think for one second that he's not aware of that.
