#1 – ‘Preacher’ Kamala Harris Shows up in Nashville to Deliver a Grotesque Political Spectacle — by Bonchie

Imagine being one of the parents who lost a child in the Nashville shooting, having been ignored for nearly two weeks only to have the vice president show up to proclaim solidarity with spoiled, fame-seeking legislators who used a mob to shut down the legislature. Three dead children (and six deaths total) weren’t enough to move Harris, but meeting with insurrectionists was.

I can’t say for sure whether the vice president met with any of the families after finally making it to Nashville, but if she did, no one is talking about it. That would seem unlikely given how much the administration has bragged about such interactions in the past. What Harris definitely did, though, was pull out her “preacher” voice to shout about the “real” victims.

#2 – Judge Hands Desperate Alvin Bragg a Massive Loss in His Effort to Avoid House Investigation — by Nick Arama

Bragg is trying to do all he can not to comply, claiming he was taking action “in response to an unprecedently [sic] brazen and unconstitutional attack by members of Congress on an ongoing New York State criminal prosecution and investigation of former President Donald J. Trump.”

But the judge in the matter did not agree. U.S. District Court Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil, a Trump appointee, denied the request from Alvin Bragg for a temporary restraining order against Rep. Jordan. In the denial, the judge noted that Bragg didn’t even provide documents he should have to support his cause, including that “subpoena purportedly served on Mr. Pomerantz” as well as the “Declaration of Theodore J. Boutrous, Jr.,” which is mentioned in Bragg’s moving papers. Sounds like Bragg didn’t help himself, and the judge is chiding him for failure to have everything he should have had for such a motion.

#3 – WATCH: Bud Light Distributor Says He’s Never Seen ‘Such Little Sales on This Product’ — by Bob Hoge

It’s hard to fathom just what the heck the brass were thinking when they approved this ridiculous partnership or when they hired the person in charge of this alienating pivot. RedState‘s Nick Arama brought you the story of Vice President of Marketing Alissa Heinerscheid, who decided the brand was too “fratty” and that it needed more “inclusivity” in its marketing. Actually, neither statement is true, Alissa; many of us enjoyed the lowbrow but funny commercials of the past, and the “non-elite” status of the beer.

Bud Light is a blue-collar beer, a brewski that guys and gals like to drink when watching sports or hanging out, a relatively cheap drink for young people who don’t want to blow twenty bucks on some hoppy IPA. No one claims it’s for connoisseurs. I’m betting most of its clientele is not made up of the kind of people who want to watch a biological male prance around in a dress, take bubble baths, and talk about their “girlhood,” and it looks like I’m right.

#4 – Shocking New Evidence Reveals Feds Possibly Instigated Violence During the Jan. 6 Capitol Riot — by Jeff Charles

If the allegations made by the defense attorney are accurate, it means government agents were actively encouraging the people present at the Capitol building to engage in violence. They were goading these individuals into committing crimes, which is the type of corruption that has been rife in the Bureau since its inception.

Indeed, the FBI has a history of using informants, who are highly paid and often convicts themselves, to infiltrate politically-oriented groups and persuade their members to engage in extremism so that they can get more arrests. Another report revealed that the Bureau ran this same type of operation on activists protesting against police brutality after the murder of George Floyd.

#5 – SFSU Releases Shocking Statement on Riley Gaines Assault — by Bonchie

I’d call the statement tone-deaf, but it’s not tone-deaf because this is exactly the tone that SFSU is shooting for, which is to claim that those committing violent acts (or just being generally deranged) are actually the ones who were victimized. Moore even provides links to counseling and “equity and community inclusion” services in the email. Don’t get me wrong, every single one of those “protesters” needs counseling (and more), but not in the way that Moore is suggesting.

How else am I supposed to read that statement except as an open admission that trans activists are above the law, both in regard to the state and the universities they attend? They can apparently assault people and violate the rights of others with impunity. You literally had a hostage-taking captured on video at SFSU, and the police made zero arrests while the university praised the hostage-takers. What are normal people supposed to even do with that?
