Woke Democrats Who Traveled to El Salvador Are Given a New Nickname - and They're Not Gonna Like It

On any given day, the Democrat Party is an absolute clown show.

But they've taken it to obscene new levels since President Trump's inauguration, with things like trying to storm federal departments that were under review by DOGE, appearing to condone domestic terrorism against Tesla showrooms and charging stations, and seemingly advocating violence against Trump and DOGE advisor Elon Musk among the TDS lunacy we've seen in action.

More recently has been the hysteria surrounding the case of alleged MS-13 gang member and accused domestic abuser Kilmar Abrego Garcia, with Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) rushing to El Salvador to plead for the release of the deported illegal immigrant whom he describes as a "constituent." Photos of the two of them with margaritas nearby created an international stir and caused Van Hollen and his party boatloads of embarrassment.

Then there were the four Democrat House members who traveled there Monday to seek Abrego Garcia's release, only to get promptly shut down by Salvadoran officials because they were not in the country in an "official capacity."

As RedState reported, Democrat Reps. Robert Garcia (CA), Maxwell Frost (FL), Yassamin Ansari (AZ), and Maxine Dexter (OR) are back from their trip, making a pit stop on CNN where they vowed to continue fighting on behalf of Abrego Garcia. They said this despite the fact that El Salvador's president, Nayib Bukele, has stated he has no intentions of returning him, and despite the fact that the Trump administration has made clear he is not ever coming back to the United States.

The antics of the Traveling Clown Show have earned them a fitting new nickname from House Republicans:

Further, there was the revelation that once upon a time, Sen. Van Hollen was a proponent of rooting out MS-13 gang members, which have been particularly problematic in Democrat strongholds like California and Maryland:

As we've said before, it's like Democrats are hellbent on getting destroyed in the 2026 midterms.

While I'm not one to stand in the way of the opposition when they're self-destructing, it just boggles the mind that they continue to believe this is a winning issue despite the horrible optics, which have included not just the margarita incident but also Van Hollen being directly called out by Patty Morin, mother of murdered Maryland resident Rachel Morin.

Rachel Morin was a mom of five who was brutally raped and killed by another El Salvadoran illegal immigrant, Victor Martinez-Hernandez, in the summer of 2023 after he came across the border illegally under the Biden-Harris administration.

"[Van Hollen] did not call our family. He did not give condolences. There was no action on the Democratic Party in any way, from Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Mayorkas, anyone here in Maryland," Patty Morin shared in a recent interview. "None of the senators did anything to help search for the murderer of my daughter."

And yet they'll literally shed tears for a suspected gang member and accused wife abuser. Go figure.
