Karoline Leavitt Gives the Best Response When Asked About Tim Walz's Tesla Swipe

Because the 2024 elections went so badly for them, in the aftermath, the Democrat Party and their mainstream media comrades immediately turned to talk of 2028 and who they saw as viable contenders for the presidency.

Among them are, of course, former vice president and twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, former Biden Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg, and failed 2024 Democrat vice presidential nominee and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

While it's hard to determine which one of them is the most cringe, Walz in my view wins the prize for his repeated attempts at coming off as relatable and a "man of the people" even though, in the end, he usually just ends up proving the point about how out of touch Democrats actually are when it comes to the issues that matter most to voters.

As further evidence, RedState's Rusty Weiss previously reported on how Walz joined in on fanning the anti-Elon Musk/Tesla flames Tuesday by admitting it gave him "a little bit of a boost during the day" to see Tesla stock prices fall.

Though Musk himself had a great response to Walz by noting that it gave him a boost to see Vice President JD Vance's picture up in the White House instead of Tim Walz's, press secretary Karoline Leavitt had a dunk of her own for Walz when asked about his remarks during the Wednesday press briefing.

"Tim Walz - Gov. Walz saying last night he frequently checks Tesla’s stock and doing so to ‘give me a little boost throughout the day,'" one reporter began. "How should Americans view politicians who take pride in the downfall of an American car company?"

"I think it’s quite sad," Leavitt responded. "But I think that Gov. Walz unfortunately is living a sad existence after his devastating defeat on November 5th."

Watch:

I mean it doesn't get much sadder for Democrats than to lose to their arch-nemesis on Election Night, and in such a way that demonstrated a pretty definitive rejection of the lawfare tactics used against Donald Trump for the four years of his first presidency--and the four years after, when they were trying to hamstring his 2024 campaign before it got started.

All of that said, in the off chance Walz did run and win the Democrat nomination, he'd presumably have to face off against Vance again after getting his patootie handed to him on the debate stage in 2024, and four years after Vance has had a chance to prove himself on a world stage and, more importantly, to the American people.

It's one of those situations where you'd expect Walz to be carrying a white flag in his pocket so he could give in early on, so as to avoid further embarrassment. Wouldn't that be a sight to see?
