They say that timing is everything, and that was most certainly the case Wednesday when Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) appeared on MSNBC to talk about the Joe Biden economy and how the administration's gaslighting was not winning over converts.
It all started after "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski referenced a focus group of undecided voters, several of whom agreed President Biden had been a disaster for the economy and who all agreed that former President Donald Trump's policies would be more beneficial to them:

"Raise your hand if you think President Trump's policies on the economy would be better for you personally? All right, that would be everybody."
And yet they're still "undecided"? These are people who care as… pic.twitter.com/1Y6Od81MJE
Moments later, Brzezinski brought Clyburn on the panel to talk about the focus group's opinions, and the messaging coming out of the Biden White House about the economy.
When she asked Clyburn about what the Biden campaign could be doing better on this front, here's what he had to say:
“I think that we have to focus on people's everyday lives. And 401ks are not about people's everyday lives. And I do believe just from my own observations, from the conversations I have had with people, there are concerns about things like inflation. But what we’ve got to get them to see is that inflation today is about 40 percent of what it was when Joe Biden took office. And so the inflation rates are down, and people’s incomes are up. Unemployment is on the decrease, and although we see the prices at the stores costing more money, people are, in fact, earning greater incomes. So what we've got to do is make sure people see the policies of the Biden administration, how they effect their everyday lives, and get them to see in his policies that which is real. Not what they may hear on social media.”
The problem came in when, seconds after Clyburn went on talking about alleged social media "disinformation" on the economy and how it supposedly needed to be combatted, Brzezinski had to cut away to CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin who had the breaking news about how the Consumer Price Index rose 3.5 percent in March.

MSNBC then had to cut away from Jim to breaking news that the new inflation numbers were higher than expected AGAIN.
Absolutely perfect timing. 😂 pic.twitter.com/GAwORSfEfr
That timing was indeed about as perfect as it gets, when it comes to disrupting Democrat bubbles and narratives about how struggling Americans should not believe what they have seen and experienced firsthand.
We're going to be seeing and hearing a lot of this in the coming months as Joe Biden and his Democrat/media apologists try to run away from his record as fast as they can. But as the Ben Shapiro saying goes, facts don't care about your feelings, and that was most certainly the case for Clyburn, who reportedly was not brought back for a follow-up after the news of the CPI broke.
