Watch: Joe Biden Makes Admission About Trump and the Vaccine That He Should Have Long Ago (but Didn't)

One of the many things that have been revealed over the last six weeks is how Democrats and the mainstream media suddenly have no more skepticism towards the coronavirus vaccine – so much so that they are launching campaigns encouraging people to take it.

This despite their seven-months-long pre-Election Day efforts to outright sabotage President Trump on his claims regarding various treatments for the virus, including on his predictions of an accelerated timeline for vaccine availability.

I remember distinctly how Democrats, “reporters” and left-wing commentators at liberal media “news” outlets like MSNBC and CNN deliberately undermined the public’s confidence in a Trump-touted vaccine prior to the election. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden were among the worst offenders on this front.

When Harris was asked in early September if she’d get the vaccine if it was approved for distribution before the end of the year, she declared that she “would not trust Donald Trump and it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about the efficacy and the reliability of whatever he’s talking about.”

To say it was an incredibly irresponsible answer for her to give would be an understatement, especially considering she was a newly-minted VP nominee and considering she knew the vaccine was not going to be released until it had gone through all the necessary testing, safety checks, and rigorous approval processes.

Joe Biden was no better. He floated a ridiculous “board of scientists” idea a week after Harris’ comments after being asked if there was a “risk” he was undermining public confidence in a vaccine. What he didn’t say at the time was numerous “boards of scientists” in line to review the vaccine already existed.

In response, President Trump stated what was obvious to many people at that point about the Biden-Harris campaign’s coordinated efforts with the media to stir up skepticism over the vaccine not because of science but because of politics.

“Joe Biden’s anti-vaccine theories are putting a lot of lives at risk and they are only doing it for political reasons, it’s very foolish,” Trump correctly pointed out at the time.

Well, here we are three months later, and now that Joe Biden has been proclaimed the winner of the presidential election by the media and the Electoral College, he is singing a much different tune. During a public event earlier today designed to showcase him receiving the vaccine, the former vice president made a concession about Trump and Operation Warp Speed that he should have months ago but didn’t:

President-elect Joe Biden received his first COVID-19 vaccine dose Monday and offered rare praise for President Trump before giving an awkward fist-bump to his nurse practitioner.

Biden applauded the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed for successfully developing vaccines before making the new faux pas discouraged during the pandemic.

“I think that the administration deserves some credit getting this off the ground with Operation Warp Speed,” Biden said, wearing an informal black long-sleeved shirt to his appointment.

Biden, 78, touted the vaccine as safe while wearing two overlapping protective face masks to his appointment at ChristianaCare Hospital in Newark, Delaware.

Watch:

How magnanimous of him, especially considering the Trump administration deserves more than just “some” credit.

In my view, his belated admission is not any different than House Speaker Nancy Pelosi purposely stalling the COVID relief bill until after the election – and admitting to it after the election. The media and Democrats alike DELIBERATELY manipulated people about the vaccine and the COVID relief bill until after Election Day in hopes their misinformation campaigns would defeat Trump and give Biden some early victories on the “America begins recovery from the virus” front.

What Biden, Pelosi, and other Democrats in and out of the media did on undermining the vaccine and COVID bill for political reasons is simply unforgivable. They supposedly cared so much about helping people avoid catching the virus that they downplayed the vaccine because Orange Man Bad. That is just flat out depraved no matter how you slice it. As my colleague Jeff Charles put so bluntly earlier, progressives cared more about politicizing the vaccine than saving lives.

Unfortunately, outside of the two remaining Senate races in Georgia, the election is over so there is not much we can do about the left’s duplicity at this moment. But what we can do from now until mid-terms is to remind people of it over and over again in hopes it hurts them where it needs to the most: At the ballot box.
