Trump Sends a Message to Cracker Barrel After Woke Rebrand Backfires

President Trump, on Tuesday morning, urged Cracker Barrel to admit their rebranding efforts were a mistake and even offered advice as to how they could turn lemons into good old-fashioned lemonade.

The southern-inspired restaurant chain unveiled a new minimalist logo last week, removing the traditional barrel and old man figure, prompting outrage on social media for trying to go "woke."

The president's son, Donald Trump Jr., and even Steak N' Shake leveled Cracker Barrel with their take on the new logo.

The rival chain described the new logo as “a cheap effort to gain the approval of trend seekers," while Trump Jr. accused the chain of abandoning its heritage.

The President responded to the controversy by suggesting Cracker Barrel "admit a mistake."

"Cracker Barrel should go back to the old logo, admit a mistake based on customer response (the ultimate Poll), and manage the company better than ever before," he wrote.

The consummate businessman then offered money-making advice.

"They got a Billion Dollars' worth of free publicity if they play their cards right. Very tricky to do, but a great opportunity. Have a major News Conference today," added Trump. "Make Cracker Barrel a WINNER again."

Trump also noted that he, himself, has had to find sunshine in the rain, taking a country decimated by the equally woke Biden administration and turning it into a respected nation once more.

"Remember, in just a short period of time, I made the United States of America the 'HOTTEST' Country anywhere in the World. One year ago, it was 'DEAD,'" he said before wishing Cracker Barrel, "Good luck!"

Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Masino initially responded to the backlash over the logo redesign by suggesting ongoing changes are for the customers who have been providing feedback that is "overwhelmingly positive."

After several days of overwhelmingly negative feedback, the company seemed to be engaging in damage control, telling customers they "could've done a better job."

"The things people love the most about our stores aren't going anywhere: rocking chairs on the porch, a warm fire in the hearth, peg games on the tables, unique treasures in our gift shop, and vintage Americana with antiques pulled straight from our warehouse in Lebanon, Tennessee," the company wrote.

And they assure that Uncle Herschel will remain a key fixture.

“Uncle Herschel will still be on our menu (welcome back Uncle Herschel’s Favorite Breakfast Platter), on our road signs, and featured in our country store," they continued. "He’s not going anywhere – he’s family."

President Trump is right. Embrace the media attention, but don't lean into the woke nonsense the way Bud Light did. Cracker Barrel should revive the older gentleman and the barrel on their logo, celebrate Uncle Herschel, and hire Sydney Sweeney as a spokesperson immediately.

That would, without a doubt, make them the "hottest."
