The war between tech moguls is heating up after Elon Musk thoroughly shredded Bill Gates with sharp comments about his alleged ties to notorious sex predator Jeffrey Epstein.

Musk made the brutal remarks during an appearance at the Qatar Economic Forum on Tuesday.

Bloomberg reporter Mishal Husain peppered the Tesla CEO throughout his interview with antagonizing questions and often interrupted the answers to provide her own personal context—the exact opposite of what a reputable reporter might do.

Husain cornered Musk regarding Gates's criticisms two weeks ago in an interview with the Financial Times. In it, the Microsoft co-founder accused the former DOGE chief of "killing the world's poorest children" by cutting waste and fraud in the federal government.

“Yeah, he’s a huge liar," Musk responded.

When the reporter tried to continue with her questions, Elon interjected, saying, "Also, who does Bill Gates think he is to make comments about the welfare of children, given that he frequented Jeffrey Epstein?”

His reply drew applause from the crowd.

Bill Gates Gives Truly Creepy Answer When Questioned About Jeffrey Epstein

Husain immediately tried running cover by pointing to Gates' previous defense of his relationship with Epstein. But Musk wasn't having it, and he quickly continued the takedown.

“I mean, he’s not exactly — I wouldn’t trust that guy to babysit my kids. I can tell you that," he added.

Musk was fired up over criticism from Gates, in which he suggested children died due to cuts implemented by DOGE. Which is absurd fear-mongering not befitting of an intelligent being.

“The picture of the world’s richest man killing the world’s poorest children is not a pretty one,” Gates told the Financial Times.

As to Husain's defense, Gates did provide a rather awkward defense of his meetings with Epstein, brushing them off as a simple "mistake."

“You know, I had dinners with him. I regret doing that,” Gates told PBS’s Judy Woodruff. “He had relationships with people he said would give to global health, which is an interest I have. Not nearly enough philanthropy goes in that direction. Those meetings were a mistake.”

Woodruff kept pressing while Gates squirmed through a slightly more flowery version of "no comment."

“Is there a lesson for you, for anyone else looking at this?” she inquired.

“Well, he’s dead,” Gates replied, cracking a bit of a smile. “So, in general, you always have to be careful.”

In an interview with "CBS This Morning" in 2022, Melinda French Gates cited her husband Bill's interactions with Epstein as at least one reason for their divorce.

She referred to the convicted sex trafficker as "abhorrent" and "evil personified."

Epstein was convicted of procuring for prostitution a girl below the age of 18 in 2008 and was facing sex trafficking charges until he died, according to authorities, by suicide in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019.
