Conservative Hollywood actor James Woods shared a "miracle" update on his home in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles after he initially thought it had burned down.
The "Ghosts of Mississippi" actor had been very active on social media when the wildfires first broke out, and at one point, broke down on CNN as he told viewers that his home was "gone."
Woods, though, traveled to his home and provided an uplifting post on X Friday.
"A miracle has happened," he said. "We managed to get to our property, and our home, that we were told is gone forever, is still standing."
"In this hellish landscape, 'standing' is relative, but smoke and other damage is not like the utter destruction around us."
Woods, a Golden Globe and two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner, also provided a video view of the devastation all around him, taken from his deck.

It's heartbreaking to see all of the destruction around James Woods' home. He and his family are very fortunate.
The LA wildfires have resulted in a confirmed death toll of 11, with over 35,000 acres burned across multiple fires, including the Palisades, Eaton, and Kenneth fires.
Earlier in the week, Woods had been under the impression that his home was lost, providing an emotional update to CNN host Pamela Brown.

“One day, you’re swimming in the pool, and the next day, it’s all gone,” Woods said.
The executive producer of "Oppenheimer" also noted the struggle his family had in evacuating, especially as they were trying to aid their elderly neighbor.
The emotions truly kicked into overdrive when he relayed a story about his wife Sara Miller-Woods’ 8-year-old niece offering her piggy bank in order to help them rebuild their house.

"One day you're swimming in the pool and the next day it's all gone...I'm sorry, I'm usually....I thought I'd be stronger than this."

To her credit, Brown offered words of encouragement in his time of need.
“Strength is not measured by whether you hold in crying," she said. "Strength is what you are doing now in helping your neighbors and shining a light on the great, amazing work of all those firefighters and emergency crews.”
This is the polar opposite of how leftists have been responding to the news of Woods' home burning down on the JV social media site, Bluesky.
Feel free to venture over to that cesspool, and you'll see countless posts from liberals celebrating the actor's home burning down.
They're big mad because Woods views climate change as a hoax and has been placing the blame for the latest disaster squarely at the feet of incompetent Democrats.
"It took mere hours for the ineptitude of Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass to render the Pacific Palisades a scorched wasteland. To rebuild will be a gargantuan task," he wrote on X. "The first necessary step must be to recall these two worthless political hacks."
