First Lady Melania Trump underwent surgery for a Kidney condition and is recovering in the hospital Monday, according to the White House.
In a statement, the White House said the surgery was successful and Mrs. Trump looks forward to recovering “so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere.”

Television doctors without knowledge of her condition have speculated what the procedure possibly could’ve been for.
CNN’s contributing physician, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, laid out an array of possible ailments but says the White House’s statement frames it as a “benign condition” and likely not any type of cancer.
