WATCH: Cory Booker Tries to Be Relatable in Weird Moment With Influencer After Trump's Address

I think it's rather ironic that Democrats tried to ding Vice President JD Vance for being "weird" during the 2024 presidential campaign, given how normal Vance is to the American people.

Meanwhile, it was Tim Walz with his "jazz hands" and ever-changing stories who was truly the weird one. Not to mention Kamala Harris, her word salads, and inability to come across in a normal, relatable way.

But the problem seems to be a party-wide issue of weirdness, if the Democrats behavior at President Donald Trump's Joint Address to Congress was any indication on Tuesday night. You had the folks who held up the creepy little signs that looked like auction house paddles. The Democrats looked like they were bidding on items.

Then you had Democrats who walked out of the speech, but most people watching the address at home didn't even see that. So much for sending any kind of message. All they seemed to be about was play acting as important protesters, rather than the rather lame theater kids they are.

Leftist Dems Post Pic After They Walk Out of Trump Speech -- There's One Big Thing Missing

But let's face it, this is weird as Democratic influencer Chris Mowrey interacts with Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and talks about people's "anger" in the moments after the speech:

Too much coffee? Overall Democratic wackiness?

Mowrey told Booker that a lot of people were feeling "angry into the void," thinking no one was hearing their anger. He said he was "tired" after having to sit there for two hours.

Then Mowrey joked about Booker saying he wasn't tired, that he was "ready to go."

Booker acknowledged he was "charged up" and shoulder-bumped Mowrey.

Then they exchange thoughts on how they think the Trump team is about "chaos."

Brother, if that's "chaos" from Trump, bring me more. Trump has probably done more in a month than most presidents have done in a year--and maybe more than some have done in their whole term. In a month, he's basically resolved the problem of illegal aliens at the border because he's brought it down so much. That proved it could have been done the whole time Joe Biden was in office, when he had people pouring across the border. That's just one of the many items that Trump has done, and is doing, to the betterment of the country.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are always trying to whip up emotion like you see here. But what you don't see is much beyond the "TDS" and "we hate Trump." Biden and Harris left a huge mess to have to clean up, after failing over so much for four years.

If the Democrats are trying to reach out to the young men they feel they may have lost to President Donald Trump in the election, with an attempt to appear relatable and "cool," I don't think this is going to make it. All we're seeing from Democrats is performative politics at this point. The American people aren't buying it.

Oh, and Sen. Booker? Frederick Douglass, the famous abolitionist you mention in the clip, was a Republican.
