Biden Campaign Doubles Down on Bloodbath Hoax Using Fine People Myth, but Gets Done in by Joe's Own Words

As I reported earlier, we saw some hoax-making going on in real-time as the Biden campaign, Democrats, and the media all jumped in to spread the false story about what former President Donald Trump said about a "bloodbath."

Trump was warning that if Biden won, it would be a "bloodbath" for the auto industry because of Biden's bad policies. In other words, not something anyone would want. Yet the left and their operatives in the media painted it in their headlines as Trump saying there would be a "bloodbath" if Biden won, without any context. Some even claimed he was promising violence when he wasn't, and nothing he said was a threat.

Then, even after they were getting called out on the hoax, you still had Trump haters pushing the fiction that though Trump was talking about cars and the auto industry, this still must somehow be a hidden call for violence or that the use of the term "bloodbath" was somehow violent rhetoric (even though Trump was obviously arguing against the economic harm that this would do to the industry and America).

No, it's not the truth if you're leaving out the context of what was being said. And then when you get the context, claiming it must be violent anyway is just nonsense. If Trump breathes, somehow they will declare it evil.

Bloodbath is commonly used for economic disaster and all kinds of things that have nothing to do with violence. Again to pretend otherwise is not being straight.

But the Biden campaign communications director doubled down on the smear on Jen Psaki's MSNBC show. He claimed Trump was endorsing political violence. Not only did he push the bloodbath smear, but even as they created this new hoax, they tried to defend it by invoking the debunked Charlottesville falsehood about "fine people."

Tyler claimed that Trump said there were "very fine people on both sides." That has been long debunked, as Trump explicitly said he was not talking about the Neo-Nazis, who he said should be "condemned utterly." Again, the context was clear. But they didn't care about that. But it's not surprising that Tyler says this since this hoax/falsehood is central to Joe Biden's claim of why he ran for office in 2020, and he repeats this ruse even today at events. It just shows how dishonest they are that they push the new hoax with the old.

But if they think that just using the term "bloodbath" is somehow evil, violent rhetoric, they need to go after Joe Biden then.

“What we can’t let happen is let this primary become a negative bloodbath,” Biden told more than 100 donors gathered at a private residence in Bethesda, Maryland. “I know I’m going to get a lot of suggestions on how to respond to what I suspect will be an increasingly negative campaign that the Bernie brothers will run.

Whoops, so let's apply the same rule here -- Joe Biden just threatened political violence, by their standards.

Of course, he wasn't being violent any more than Trump was.

How ridiculous are they? But they just keep proving how desperate they are.

Update: This story has been revised to clarify that Michael Tyler is the Biden campaign's communication director.
