We saw Joe Biden give a mess of an interview to MSNBC's Jonathan Capehart that aired on Saturday.
One of the chief topics of discussion was Israel and the war with Hamas.
Instead of being supportive in their efforts to get rid of the terrorists, Biden claimed that Israel had to do more to prevent the loss of life in Gaza, and he even said that he had a "red line" (apparently learning nothing from Barack Obama's setting of meaningless red lines he wouldn't enforce), about going into Rafah, that we "can't have 30,000 more Palestinians dead," ridiculously referencing Hamas-influenced numbers. He was clearly trying to put the squeeze on Israel and, more specifically, on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. That's why he was talking about having a "come to Jesus" moment with him on the issue -- meaning that Netanyahu had to stop/change what he was doing. He claimed during the interview that Netanyahu was doing "more harm than good."

Now, there's a new report that the Biden White House is trying to force Netanyahu and his coalition out.
An Israeli expert who frequently consults for US officials is quoted by New York Magazine as saying, “I have been asked by a serious administration figure what it is that will force the Netanyahu coalition to collapse. They were interested in the mechanics, what can we demand which will collapse his coalition.”
A US expert quoted in the reports says that White House realizes that “Netanyahu is in a corner of his own making. He has no room to maneuver. He is screwing us. The politics of this have to completely change, and I think time is running out.”
Can we flash back to when the Obama Administration actually got involved in the Israeli election against Netanyahu using taxpayer funds? Not to mention how Obama/Biden were always courting Iran?
It looks like they're at it again because the report is completely consistent with the prior behavior. But now, it's in the middle of a war against Hamas, where the result of Biden's interference could benefit Hamas by stopping Israel from going into Rafah to finish them off.
Netanyahu is hip to this; he's had to deal with it from Barack Obama in the past, and he issued a strong response to Biden's sneaky attempt to undercut him.

Bibi said these were not his "private policies" -- this is what the majority of Israel wants, that the majority understands if they don't do this, they will face another Oct. 7 attack. "The vast majority are as united as ever before," he said.
The attempt to cast it as his private policies is false, he said, seemingly directed at Biden.
Netanyahu is correct.
New poll finds that 75% of Jewish Israelis and 65% of Israelis overall support operation in Rafah, which Biden says is a “red line.” His efforts to portray the Gaza operation as Netanyahu policy will only help Bibi domestically. https://t.co/9iHj4KEH5r https://t.co/wPDoadhk8F

Biden is being a duplicitous snake and throwing Israel under the bus, trying to put pressure on Bibi to play both to our left and maybe to theirs. But Joe being Joe, he's wrong again, and he may be actually strengthening Netanyahu in the process.
Great job, Joe!
