Joe Scarborough Hangs His Mother Out to Dry in Desperate Effort to Defend Joe Biden

I wrote previously about some of the worst liberal media takes that came out last week in defense of Joe Biden after the damning release of the Hur Report and Joe Biden's angry presser in response.

But there was another defense this week that was worthy of mention.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough showed just how low he would go for his buddy Joe Biden.

The Biden team has been feigning outrage over the fact that the report mentions Biden couldn't remember what year his son Beau died — one of the pivotal things he talks about in his life — during the Hur interview. Jill Biden even claimed that just asking the question was somehow an attack by Hur's team on Beau and Joe, which was both ridiculous and shamefully manipulative. She also did it in a fundraising email, which was gross. But that's the Democratic talking point, and Scarborough touched on it while he'd debased himself.

“Nobody has been closer to me in my life than my mom," Scarborough claimed.

"If somebody asked me in the middle of a deposition, ‘What year did your mom die?’ I’d go, ‘I don’t know, 2017, 2018, 2019?’ I don’t know.”

He even threw his wife under the bus too, saying it would be the "same thing with Mika and her dad (Zbigniew Brzezinski)."

Yikes. That's pretty disgraceful,

They talk about Biden's Beau comment in the Hur interview because they don't want to talk about the other things, like the fact that Biden couldn't remember when he began serving as vice president, or when he stopped. I would think that's a big problem. But Scarborough skips right over that because there's no way to defend that. Plus, Biden is confused and lost all the time. We see it every day. The liberal media seems to largely want to deny it, but the American people can see and make their own judgment about it.

But even as to the Beau comment, how low do you have to be to say that about your own mom to defend Biden? I remember both the year and the day my mother died because it was the day before her birthday. I think most people would remember the year. But this is Biden's child, whom he talks about all the time. Biden couldn't even get the year Beau died within several years, according to the report, and that's one of the most pivotal events of Joe's life, as Joe tells it. Biden, in front of all of us during his presser, also couldn't remember the church from which the rosary he wears every day in honor of his son came.

As we previously reported, Joe Biden has an obsession with "Morning Joe," and he and Scarborough talk. They must be pretty close if Scarborough will stoop to this level — so much for any real journalism or objectivity.
