I wrote more in a story earlier about a report on Jill Biden's handler role of her husband, the freakout that she had at him and his aides, when no one stopped him during a disastrous press conference, and how she was the one who pushed him to run because of her hatred for former President Donald Trump.

Now, she is showing that handler role again, with a statement on the report issued by Special Counsel Robert Hur in the classified document investigation. The statement was issued in her name, as part of a fundraising email sent out by the Biden campaign.
The statement works that same path that Joe Biden tried during his disastrous public response to the report -- that somehow even mentioning how he couldn't remember the year his son died was out of bounds. Jill's letter took it even a step further by calling it an attack on Joe and on their dead son. Beau was her stepson, the son of his first wife. I found her statement pretty manipulative and quite frankly, a gross use of Beau's death In no way was Hur's report an attack on Beau.
Hold onto your hat for the snow job.

“I hope you can imagine how it felt to read that attack -- not just as Joe’s wife, but as Beau’s mother.”
“Joe is 81, that’s true, but he’s 81 doing more in an hour than most people do in a day.” pic.twitter.com/xw2Pk8qFxl
"I hope you can imagine how it felt to read that attack -- not just as Joe's wife, but as Beau's mother.
I don't know what this Special Counsel was trying to achieve. We should give everyone grace, and I can't imagine someone would use our son's death to score political points. If you've experienced a loss like that, you don't measure it in years, you measure it in grief.
May 30th is a day forever etched on our hearts. It shattered me, it shattered our family.
So many of you know that feeling after you lose a loved one, where you feel like you can't get off the floor. What helped me, and what helped Joe, was to find purpose. That's what keeps Joe going, serving you and the country we love.
Joe is 81, that's true, but he's 81 doing more in an hour than most people do in a day. Joe has wisdom, empathy and vision. He has delivered on so many of his promises as President precisely because he's learned a lot in those 81 years. His age, with his experience and expertise, is an incredible asset and he proves it every day."
Now, notice she doesn't deny anything in the report.
She just tries to depict it as some kind of attack, and suggests it's political. She doesn't even deny that Joe has issues; she just tries to address that by saying May 30 is "etched on our hearts." But the point the report made was that Joe couldn't remember the year Beau died, not the day, even within several years, and he couldn't remember what years he was VP -- not remembering when his term began or when it ended. That's not normal.

Jill claims that Joe does more in an hour than most do in a day.
I don't think anyone believes that for a second. He's on vacation constantly, frequently taking early lids, starting the day late, and ending early. His public schedule in the past has often been painfully empty of work, often having one event or even none. Recently, he's had a few more events, mostly for his campaign.
She tries to say Joe is wise, but we see his issues every day. We've seen differently for three years, indeed for his whole political life. As I wrote earlier in my story about her "handling" of him, she's the one who reportedly pushed him into this because of her hatred for Trump, despite how it drains him. That's disgusting, and some are calling it elder abuse.
But none of this is a defense to Joe Biden having classified documents for decades, as Hur described it, evidence that he "willfully retained and disclosed. classified materials." It's funny that they want you to accept Hur's decision not to charge him but excoriate him for commenting on why he didn't charge him.
Oh, and campaign folks? Every time you respond, it's another story highlighting Joe's issues.
So, if she's saying he's tip-top, then let's go ahead with the prosecution.
I continue to be amused at the White House vigorously arguing against the reason Joe Biden escaped criminal charges https://t.co/eLVpc5mGHC

Weird that Biden/no one on his campaign bothered to dispute that he forgot when he was VP. Did everyone just accept that as fact? https://t.co/XxeGTQYm8W

Note that she doesn't really dispute the facts or evidence. Just that it was 'an attack'. https://t.co/LAbciG0v2h
