Anti-Israel Crew Crashes DC Holiday Celebration; Mayor Bowser's Response Is a Metaphor for Dem Failure

The anti-Israel folks are making a name for themselves -- but for being so annoying that it would alienate anyone: blocking highways and airports, targeting Christmas tree lightings, even terrorizing a line of kids waiting to meet Santa at the mall. Not exactly sterling behavior from people. They even managed to yell at actor Alec Baldwin and get into a battle, as he passed by them on Monday. They'll annoy anyone, on either side of the political aisle and violate any norm for their "cause."

They're an example of the unfettered, entitled left. The Democrats have encouraged these kinds of protest actions in the past with BLM and the environmental activist movement. Now, it's coming back to bite them in the posterior, because these folks don't care about respecting the Democrats; they'll protest them, too.

A bunch of them decided to crash a D.C. holiday celebration being run by Mayor Muriel Bowser. Her reaction was a perfect metaphor for Democrats -- she seemed unable to properly deal with them, just saying "thank you" to them. Then watch what she does at the end.

"These are our D.C. values," Bowser said. "We respect one another. We love one another, and we stand side by side with each other," as they continued to yell at her, not caring about or respecting her "values."

"We would like our guests to respect the D.C. residents who are here," Bowser asked them. But they just kept yelling, "People of Palestine," and "Ceasefire now!" So much for respect. But that's been in short supply in D.C. before these characters showed up.

The poor guy doing the signing for the hearing impaired was funny, trying to catch up to what the anti-Israel crew was screaming, too. The rabbi she asked to join her on stage did not look at all happy, and who could blame her?

Then suddenly Bowser starts breaking out in song, singing, "This little light of mine." But she was off-key, so it was a bit of a cringe attempt to make noise over the shouting activists. You couldn't hear any of the other people on the stage. That's a tough choice there, as to what you want to hear: screeching anti-Israel activists or Bowser singing.

It's so ridiculous. What do they think Bowser is going to do to get them a ceasefire?

But it was so symbolic of how Democrats don't know how to deal with situations like this. You can see why everything in D.C. is a mess, when all she does is say "thank you" to them and then break out in song. No calling for security to remove them, not even a chastisement of their actions -- that's an impotent Democrat for you.
