We’re now getting more information on the “object” that was over Lake Huron. Canada just closed a huge amount of airspace over the area.
Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) said she’s been told by the Department of Defense that they had close eyes on the “object.”
Just got a call from @DeptofDefense — our military has an extremely close eye on the object above Lake Huron. We’ll know more about what this was in the coming days, but for now, be assured that all parties have been laser-focused on it from the moment it traversed our waters.

Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) said he was told by NORTHCOM officials that it was an “object” that had passed over Montana and it was not an “anomaly” as had been previously reported. That’s probably the object now over Lake Huron.
I am in constant communication with NORCOM and they have just advised me that they have confidence there IS an object and it WAS NOT an anomaly. I am waiting now to receive visual confirmation. Our nation’s security is my priority.

Now there’s word that they shot it down. That’s after tracking it for at least a day, assuming it’s the same one.
It appears the U.S. military has just shot down another ‘object’ this time over Lake Huron. https://t.co/9DU4ZL30N8
