We reported earlier about a NOTAM issued with U.S. airspace shut down over Lake Michigan for “national defense.”
That NOTAM later appeared to be rescinded.
But now there’s a new report that Canada has closed the airspace over Lake Huron.

It’s to the east of the earlier report over Lake Michigan that closed U.S. airspace.

This is getting wild. Hopefully, they’re able to find whatever it is and take it down.
Something definitely going on over the great lakes.
Big chunks of airspace being closed off, including areas around Tobermory/Lake Huron from the surface up to 30,000 ft. for 'active air defence operation'
