If Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal wasn’t bad enough already, it just got a whole lot worse.

It was just announced that Justice Department personnel searched Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home for 12 hours on Friday, with Biden’s personal attorneys and White House counsel present, and discovered six more classified documents that they have now taken possession of. Some of the documents reportedly go back to Biden’s time in the Senate, at least 14 years ago. Others were from his time as Vice President.

Biden would have had access to multiple sensitive documents when he was the Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2007 to 2009.

Bob Bauer, Biden’s personal attorney, released a statement describing the search and confirming that “documents with classification markings” were seized, “some of which were from the President’s service in the Senate.”
