The Biden administration can’t be bothered to fix the border or do anything to curb inflation. We saw Joe Biden pay lip service to the border with a dog and pony show visit. He hasn’t done anything to change the problems at the border. But they are still intent on trying to control everything that we do.
The latest thing on the hit list? Possibly banning gas stoves. There are millions across the country in people’s homes and restaurants. There are “studies” allegedly showing that there are “harmful pollutants” being released by the appliances. How long have such stoves been in use now and suddenly someone finds some issue?
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is mulling the action after recent studies showed emissions from the devices can cause health and respiratory problems, according to Bloomberg.
That set off a raft of objections from people.
If this is the greatest concern that the Consumer Product Safety Commission has for American consumers, I think we need to reevaluate the commission.

Junk. We have used gas stoves for hundreds of years. There is no correlation between an increase in childhood asthma and their use. This is an overreach based on a subjective hypothesis from a bad study. More fodder in the war on gas that will hurt low-income homes and small biz. pic.twitter.com/i3mOlT5T9D

But then some pointed out that while this latest claim is being pushed at us to try to control one more thing, guess who cooks (or at least did cook) on a gas stove? Jill Biden. Many pointed out how this flew in the face of the possible ban.

“Hey @Antoni, what are you cooking tonight?” Biden tweeted in 2020 to Canadian chef and TV personality Antoni Porowski.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) pointed out, “Rules for thee, but not for me.”

Other Twitter users similarly blasted her.
“FLAG ON THE PLAY: That is a GAS Stove…….. Shameful,” wrote one user,” while another quipped, “I didn’t think gaslighting was a part of the [first lady’s] agenda.”
One user joked that Biden had a “mighty fine gas cooktop,” while another said someone needed to “call 911” to report her.
“Now we’re cooking with gas!” Unleash Prosperity President Phil Kerpen said. Another user joked, “Joe Biden’s gas stove. What we have here is the whole Kit and caboodle of Biden economics. Jeez..”
“Yeah they want to eliminate gas cooking… yet here they are,” another wrote.
But isn’t that typical when it comes to the Biden administration? Is that what they call gaslighting?
