'Middle Class Joe' Ain't So Middle Class

Gotta love some of those politicians on the left. They talk a lot about “income inequality,” but then they seem to be raking in a lot of money and buying up real estate.

Joe Biden has been in government since 1971, when he was elected to a County Council seat. He was elected to the Senate in 1972 at 29 years old. So, he’s been in the federal government for the past 48 years.

Apparently being in government pays well. As Town and Country notes, most of his wealth seems to have come after 2007 and after he became vice president, but he’s had been involved in buying real estate for years before that.

As we reported, when Biden ridiculously said he had full confidence in Dr. Anthony Fauci yesterday, he was at his beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Biden bought it for $2.7 million in 2017. The three-story home has six bedrooms, lots of porches, views of the Atlantic Ocean, plus a backyard with a gourmet kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, and fireplace. Meanwhile, restaurants in Rehoboth Beach are having trouble hiring people because of Joe Biden’s policies.

Of course, that’s just the beach house. There’s also the home in Greenville, Delaware. That’s estimated to be worth close to $2 million with four acres of secluded, lakefront land and a 6,850 square foot home in a tony suburb near Wilmington.

When Joe was vice president, he rented out a cottage on the property for $2,200 a month to the Secret Service. Media never really questioned it, because Joe had the magical “D” after his name. It was under Barack Obama when all scandals disappeared into the wind and didn’t count. Conflicts of interest? They haven’t mattered when it comes to Joe Biden in quite a long time. And let’s not even talk about the reports of swimming naked in front of female Secret Service agents there and at the vice president’s residence.

Then there was the home they started renting in McClean, Virginia, in 2017, after Biden left office as vice president. The sprawling mansion was 12,000 square feet, with five-bedrooms plus a gym, sauna, and a driveway that could hold 20 cars. It was estimated to cost $20,000/month to rent. So at one point, they did have three homes, like Bernie Sanders, although they were renting one.

The Bidens are reportedly no longer renting that, according to Town and Country‘s report.

Middle Class Joe is a millionaire, many times over.

Biden and his wife earned more than $15 million in 2017 and 2018, for example, most of his official wealth in the years since he left the vice presidency coming from things like speaking engagements and book deals, with his basic speaking fee at $100,000, but it could vary.
