Biden Himself Weighs in on Fauci, but His Response Is Completely Unacceptable

With the bombshell Fauci emails that have been released, one might have thought that the Biden team might have tried to distance itself from Fauci a bit.

But indeed, they seem to only be hugging him tighter.

Today, Joe Biden himself was questioned at his beach house in Rehoboth Beach. Yes, Grandpa Joe who pretends to be “middle class” not only has a mansion in Delaware and a sprawling mansion in McClean, Virginia, but he also a beach house as well where he is today.

After Biden made remarks and as he was departing the room, he was asked if he was “still” confident in Fauci. He then popped his head back into the room moments later to respond, “Yes, I am very confident in Dr. Fauci.”

That makes me wonder since, generally, his handlers don’t want him to be answering things, if he was nudged to come back out and say that.

But it’s a bad move if they continue to tie themselves to Fauci as more continues to come out.

This followed Jen Psaki’s defense of Fauci yesterday, which left a lot to be desired.

“Well, I think we’ve spoken to this pretty extensively from here. Let me just say on Dr. Fauci and his emails, he’s also spoken to this many, many times over the last – over the course of the last few days and we’ll let him speak for himself. And he’s been an undeniable asset in our country’s pandemic response. But it’s obviously not that advantageous for me to re-litigate the substance of emails from 17 months ago.

We’ve launched, based on the President’s direction, an entire internal review process to use all of the resources across government to get to the bottom of the origins, and that’s a 100-day process and we’ll look forward to providing – or 90 days, sorry, when it’s concluded.”

So they stopped the State Department investigation, without any explanation yet as to why they did so and they’re claiming that they’re looking at everything through an “internal review,” which of course isn’t going to put out anything that would hurt them. Plus it gives them 90 days where they don’t have to answer any questions on the subject and Psaki can just stand there saying, “Wait for the review.” Meanwhile, they can hope for the news cycle to change. It was a common trick in the Obama Administration, it was why things were never pursued despite the boatloads of scandal. But this scandal may be a little bit too much for them to escape.

The emails have raised a lot of questions including about the Wuhan lab, NIH funding, and gain of function research as well as why the lab leak theory was downplayed, given the evidence that existed.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also raised questions last night on “The Ingraham Angle” about NIH pressure on the State Department to suppress their investigation. Admiral Giroir also said that Dr. Fauci’s claim last year that there was a pattern of mutations that indicated natural development of the virus was “completely false.” “There was no pattern of mutations,” Giroir said.

So these are glaring questions that deserve an answer, not just an effort to put everyone off and stifle a real investigation and real answers. Every reporter and every member of Congress should be demanding answers on this.
