The CDC has finally basically admitted that if you’re vaccinated, you don’t need to be wearing a mask.
UPDATE: If you are fully vaccinated against #COVID19, you can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal or territorial laws, incl. local business and workplace guidance. More: https://t.co/FJMon7WlFO

Now this has seemed fairly logical for awhile to anyone who understands science. But apparently not to the Biden team, who kept wearing masks despite everyone being vaccinated.
Biden just now, on masks: "You don't have to wear it inside if you're with people that have also been vaccinated."
This a few hours after he met with vaccinated congressional leaders, all wearing masks in the Oval. I get "leaders eat last" but this is incoherent.

As we reported earlier today, CNN asked White House adviser Andy Slavitt why they kept doing this, seemingly sending mixed signals to the American people? Slavitt’s response? Biden is a “very important man.” Alrighty now. So because he’s so “important,’ he’ll just keep doing something that makes no sense? What kind of sense does that make?
But despite not being clear in his own actions, Biden was out trying to spread the vaccination message again today, but sounding pretty dictatorial in the process.
The rule is now simple: get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do.
The choice is yours.

No, actually, the “rule” has always been much simpler. You don’t get to tell us what to do, you don’t make rules for us, we make our own decisions as to our health. The choice was always ours, not yours. Sounding a lot like a dictator there, Grandpa Disaster.
Biden followed up that edict, with this video, “Vaxxed or masked.”
Folks, if you’re fully vaccinated — you no longer need to wear a mask.
If you’re not vaccinated yet — go to https://t.co/4MYpWqXVVo to find a shot, and mask up until you’re fully vaccinated. pic.twitter.com/qcyG2WyCG2

The problem is that the Biden team has so frightened some folks with all this, they are still refusing to give up the masks.
But this sets up a paradox for those wearing the masks less for science and health, and more for seeming to adhering to the cult of the mask.
Biden has just told them either get vaxxed or wear the mask. They have to get vaccinated to adhere to the edict. But then he’s saying vaxxed OR masked. So if they wear a mask, they’re implying they’re horrible people who wouldn’t get vaccinated. If they don’t, then they’re freaking out as to what’s going to happen now that they’ve so absorbed it as part of their ethos and their way of virtue signaling. They want to know how will you be able to tell if someone is truly vaccinated, fearing that some might not be vaccinated but pretend to be. This is the fear that has been stoked in these folks.
The Biden guidance implies that if you’re still wearing a mask that means you’re unvaccinated.
I can’t get over how much mental paralysis this must cause for the mask cult. 😂

Some are literally vowing to keep wearing masks to stay safe from the “anti-vaxxers” pic.twitter.com/746tbJnl0s

This has been the worst week of Biden’s presidency which should help you understand why masks were needed two weeks ago but suddenly and magically not anymore today. https://t.co/LSAgF9Kp3I

They want to wear masks forever, feel free. But they don’t get to tell the rest of us what to do.
