One practice the Biden regime has been fond of is suddenly dropping off migrants in random towns along the border and saying essentially, “Here, you deal with them.”
Needless to say, some border towns — who have already suffered through the pandemic restrictions — don’t have the capacity to deal with the migrants. But they shouldn’t have to because this isn’t the way the federal government should be dealing with the issue.
Now, one Democratic senator, who has already been giving the Biden regime some headaches on other issues, is speaking out.
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), who lives in the border state of Arizona, has seen the problems first hand. She’s not a happy camper. She’s letting everyone know that she doesn’t think this is acceptable from the Biden team.

Sinema said that she wanted the administration to take “bold action,” that places like Gila Bend “can’t wait.” She explained how places like Gila Bend were getting “last minute drop-offs” of migrants and they had nowhere to put them and no facilities to take care of them. Sinema detailed how the mayor of Gila Bend was driving the migrants to places like Phoenix to get them to someplace that might have facilities. “That’s not acceptable,” Sinema railed.

“The reality is, is that this is a crisis. We all know it and the government must do more to address this surge,” Sinema declared. She said they were looking at the highest numbers of crossings in twenty years. So they really have seen how the problem has been “exacerbated and gotten worse,” she said.
Meanwhile, Jen Psaki is trying to downplay the concerns about the border, suggesting that the public isn’t all that interested in the question.
On a podcast with David Axelrod, she reportedly said, “What percentage of the public is focused on the border? A much smaller percentage than who’s focused on the pandemic and the economy.” As though that means that they should just ignore concerns? Pro tip? If you’re in charge, you have to deal with all of it, not just the parts with which you want to deal.
This isn’t even the first Democrat calling out the Biden regime on this. As we reported, Rep. Henry Cuellar has also been busting Biden for the misleading claims that the CBP facilities are ’emptying,’ saying they’re just transferring the migrant kids to another tent/facility under the rubric of HHS, on the same compound. So the number in HHS custody is now over 20,000 kids and people are still pouring over the border.
