Warnock Responds to Story About Running Over Ex-Wife's Foot With Car

As we previously reported, before Christmas, Tucker Carlson dropped some exclusive body cam video of police interviewing both Raphael Warnock and his then-wife in March. On the video, Warnock’s wife alleges that he intentionally ran over her foot with the car after a fight with their kids in the car.

Warnock told the police he didn’t think he ran over her, but his wife tearfully told the police he was a “great actor” and good at putting on a “show.”

From The Daily Mail:

‘This man’s running for United States Senate, and all he cares about right now is his reputation,’ she said.

‘I’ve been very quiet about the way that he is for the sake of my kids and his reputation.

‘I’ve tried to keep the way that he acts under wraps for a long time, and today he crossed the line. So that is what is going on here. And he’s a great actor. He is phenomenal at putting on a really good show.’

Medical personnel determined that she didn’t suffer any visible injuries to the foot and Warnock wasn’t arrested.

We asked the question why did it take Tucker to find the video? Why wasn’t the media reporting on the story? Seems like alleged domestic abuse is a pretty big story, especially with a tape like that, but liberal media literally didn’t care.

But even after it was discovered, the media ignored it. CNN didn’t even cover the discovery. The most coverage it seemed to get was a bare retweet about a “dispute” between the couple from Jake Tapper. Hardly coverage.

But while CNN is disinclined to practice journalism when it comes to Democratic candidates, local news, WGCL-TV did finally manage to ask Warnock about the allegations. Warnock’s answer was typical politician.

From The Hill:

The Rev. Raphael Warnock, who is in a tight race in one of Georgia’s Senate runoff elections on Jan. 6, said Thursday he would “stay focused on the people of Georgia” after a video emerged of his ex-wife’s allegations that he ran over her foot.

“I’m going to stay focused on my family which includes their mother and I’m going to stay focused on the people of Georgia who during a pandemic are still waiting on relief all these months later while politicians including Kelly Loeffler are busy playing games.” Warnock said in response to the video.

So Warnock completely deflects and then attacks his opponent. Obviously, he wasn’t “focused” on their mother or she wouldn’t be saying he ran her over with the car and then later divorcing him. But yes, he surely “acts” like a politician with his response.

This fits a pattern of questionable behavior when it comes to Warnock, from supporting radicals to getting arrested for obstruction in a child abuse investigation at a church camp he helped to run.

His opponent, Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) said voters deserved more answers than Warnock’s deflection, according to the Daily Mail:

‘Domestic abuse is a serious issue that Georgians deserve answers to as to what exactly happened.

‘Unfortunately, it follows a pattern of what we’ve seen that Raphael Warnock has not answered the hard questions in this campaign.’

So why is he not being pressed more on this by the media? We already know the answer.
