Modern American political history is replete with Democrat politicians pandering to Black Americans — sometimes, incredibly unknowingly; meaning they actually believe they're trying to identify with people of color, when in reality, they're only dredging up old stereotypes, which naturally reveal the Left as the pandering, exploitive, and disingenuous political hacks they are.
Who can forget former President Joe Biden's May 2020 interview on The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God, when the then-presidential candidate condescendingly admonished: "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black."?
Or, perhaps even more cringeworthy, embattled California Gov. Gavin Newsom — who only seems to open his mouth to change feet — and his disastrous appearance on Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia, when he said — apparently trying to identify with Black America:
I'm not trying to impress you. I'm just trying to impress upon you, I'm like you. I'm no better than you. I'm a 960 SAT guy. And I'm not trying to offend anyone and act all there if you got 940, but literally a 960 SAT guy ...You've never seen me read a speech because I cannot read the speech. Maybe the wrong business to be in.
Ouch. Sorry, Gov. Hair Gel; I'm sure that one left a mark or two.

There are more examples of Democrat politicians (see: Hillary Clinton) embarrassingly and desperately trying to appeal to Black voters, only to step in it up their eyebrows as they've pandered themselves silly.
So what's the deal?
Why do Democrats — who for decades have self-righteously proclaimed themselves to be the party of Black America (along with "women," "children," and other such absurd claims) — make utter fools out of themselves with respect to people of color?
Because — for at least six decades — Democrats have looked at Black Americans simply as votes. Hence, as is the case with other disparate voting blocs to which Democrats pander, come election time, these disingenuous politicians have said and promised everything they could think of to lock down the Black vote — only to then fail deliver on their (intentionally) hollow promises.
This brings us to a rather unfortunate (for the person and school system involved) incident in which a CUNY (City University of New York) associate professor set off a firestorm when she cut off a Black eighth-grader who was pleading against the shutdown of her Upper West Side school during a Feb. 10 Community Education Council Zoom meeting.
Allyson Friedman, an associate professor at the CUNY campus, sneered into her unknowingly live mic that Black students are "too dumb to know they’re in a bad school,” adding:
If you train a black person well enough, they’ll know to use the back. You don’t have to tell them anymore.
I wasn't sure what "they'll know to use the back" means, so I looked into it on Perplexity:
“They’ll know to use the back” is almost certainly a racist, segregation-era type remark implying black people should enter through the back door or use a separate, inferior entrance or space. It echoes Jim Crow–style rules where black customers, students, or workers were forced to “use the back” entrance, sit in the back, or stay out of the “front” reserved for whites.
So in plain English, it means: “They’ll understand they’re not allowed in the front like everyone else — they belong in the back,” which is why it’s read as a demeaning, racist line, not a neutral logistical comment.
Shocked? Me neither.
Here's more:
Hunter College, a top public university in New York City, said on Sunday that it would review whether “abhorrent remarks” made by a professor at a public meeting violated the institution’s policies.
The comments were made at a Feb. 10 Community Education Council meeting at which public school families on Manhattan’s West Side debated a contentious proposal by Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s administration to close or relocate several schools.
As one student, who attendees said was Black, spoke out to praise her teachers and lament the potential shutting of her school, another attendee — identified as Allyson Friedman, an associate professor at Hunter College who was attending as a public school parent — cut in.
She was attending virtually and was unaware that her microphone was turned on. “If you train a Black person well enough, they’ll know to use the back,” Dr. Friedman continued. “You don’t have to tell them anymore.”
So imagine for a nanosecond if, oh, say, President Donald Trump made similar comments about Black students. What would happen? In addition to all hell breaking out, I mean.

Democrats Suddenly Find Out Their Low Expectations From Their Soft Bigotry Won't Be Met
It Gets Worse
As is the case when all politicians get caught making "abhorrent" comments, Friedman tried to explain (lie) herself out of a very tough spot:
My complete comments make clear these abhorrent views are not my own, nor were they directed at any student or group. I fully support these courageous students in their efforts to stop school closures. However, I recognize these comments caused harm and pain, while that was not my intent I do truly apologize.
Uh-huh. Blah, blah, blah.
Translation: "I'm sorry I got caught saying what I really think; I'll try to keep those thoughts hidden in the future."
The Bottom Line
The American Democrat Party is the most dishonest and hypocritical group of people on the planet. Always has been, always will be.
