Hillary Clinton Endorses AGAINST Embattled Squad Member Jamaal Bowman, but Will Anyone Care?

Poor Hillary. (Just kidding.)

Regardless of how long or how hard Hillary Clinton desperately tries, nobody (including Democrats) seems to give a damn, anymore. Not that most people ever did; at least not enough to elect her president in 2016, but, yeah. Anyway, Hillary is back — with an irrelevant endorsement.

First, as RedState reported on Tuesday, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), a member of the laughable "Squad," along with equally idiotic Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN), is almost assuredly going to go down in flames in the June 25 New York primaries election.

So, enter irrelevant Hillary, to endorse embattled Bowman's Democrat opponent in the NY District 16 race, as if her endorsement matters. Needless to say, TDS-riddled Hillary's endorsement included blasting former President Donald Trump (who still lives rent-free in her head, 24x7), the likely 2024 Republican presidential nominee.

With Trump on the ballot, we need strong, principled Democrats in Congress more than ever.

In Congress, @LatimerforNY will protect abortion rights, stand up to the NRA, and fight for President Biden’s agenda—just like he’s always done. Make a plan to vote by June 25th!

Truth be told, I doubt that Hillary Clinton gives a damn about the opponent, Westchester County Executive George Latimer, or opposes Jamaal Bowman as much as she says, because one constant remains: Hillary cares about Hillary, and anyone she views as in her way, be damned.

Hazel Dukes, president of the state chapter of the NAACP, said, “Bill and Hillary Clinton are still popular in the Democratic Party,” but she also admitted she didn't think Hillary's endorsement of Latimer would move the needle one way or the other in the Bowman-Latimer race.

It’s about everyday issues. The economy, inflation. They’re intelligent voters.

Are they? If these so-called "intelligent voters" vote Democrat, regardless of the candidate, how can you tell?

But former Rep. Max Rose (D-NY) said the race is still a dogfight, and that Hillary's endorsement matters:

Of course, you want to get Hillary’s endorsement. It’s a net positive for Latimer. It hurts Bowman politically.

How so? Besides, Bowman has demonstrated that he's more than capable of hurting himself.

To Hillary's credit — Who knew? — here's more from the NY Post's story (linked above).

One factor that has dominated the pitched battle between Bowman and Latimer is the Israel-Hamas war. Bowman was an early proponent of a ceasefire and has implied that a genocide is unfolding in the Gaza Strip.

Latimer, by contrast, has been supportive of Israel and routinely chastised Bowman for his rhetoric, such as his defense of the phrase “From the river to the sea” — generally interpreted as a call to eradicate the Jewish state.

The Westchester County Executive enjoys the backing of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, something Bowman has groused over.

Bowman has also been under fire for a number of controversies, including pulling a fire alarm last year during a tense scene in Congress over government funding.

Last October, the Bronx and Westchester Rep. pleaded guilty to a single misdemeanor count for willfully setting off that alarm.

Then again, I just made my earlier point.

Bowman is a clown who does clownish things. Latimer, in contrast, appears to be a stand-up guy, politically speaking, by Democrat standards.

But the salient point remains: What the hell good does a late-in-the-game endorsement from Hillary Clinton matter? Zero. Hillary is only desperately trying to remain relevant—if you consider that she ever was.
